i like this bama team...think that they are very well balanced on offense & really like their defense....

also like fla....think that they are loaded....

but am leaning to bama + points at home.

good luck this weekend.

Enjoyed the write up Slick, but, if you think Leak is gonna drive down the field on our defense in the last few min/sec, well, :mj07:

"laughable main"

Isn't that the same secondary that Jason Campbell drove down the field on three times in the second half last year? Passing on 85% of the plays?

I only mention Auburn because, in my opinion, Auburn was the only good passing team that Alabama played last year and their secondary looked very unimpressive to me. Most of the time, UA defenders never even turned to see the ball. They just threw their hands up and thrashed around while the receivers made catches in stride.

How is that laughable to think Leak could do the same thing to the same guys?

What other good passing offense has Alabama faced with this secondary?

And what do you mean "we hung on to our boy Croyle"??? Was he going pro?

hell no he wasn't going pro, you know that, I'm just saying instead of getting someone else geared up for this year and next we just opted to take a freshman out of Hoover, AL (John Parker Wilson) to replace Croyle next year.

nice to see you on the side 182!

LAST YEAR 01, LAST YEAR, o, and that's how you all started this year!!! :grins:

Alabama may stick it to UF. If so, good for them, and good for Mike Shula. But for me, I'm taking what I feel is the better team with the better coach, better QB, and yes, the better defense! UF's defense is severely underrated in my opinion. But if Bama pulls it off, you guys can all come back and call me an a**hole. It's happened before...

no need for name calling because if we lose, well, at least we get to kick Tenn. ass this year! :mj14:

I think Bama should beat UT this year. I also think they will beat LSU if Brodie stays healthy.

Since beating eighth-ranked Mississippi State 19-7 on Nov. 13, 1999, the highest-ranked team Alabama has conquered on its home field was 21st-ranked Ole Miss in a 42-7 victory on Oct. 19, 2002.

Since 2000, Alabama is 3-9 against teams ranked in the Top 25 and 0-9 against teams ranked in the Top 20 at Bryant-Denny.

Sorry to interupt the big pissing match between my fellow Bama fan and an Auburn man, just wanted to say hello back to Taoist and WE.

I lurk here or there. I rarely post and rarely bet anymore. I have been MIA because I have had a shity past year (not in any way referring to gambling) to say the least.

I will try to lurk and post where I feel. Good to see you guys and we shall have our revenge against your 2 schools.

ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!

I agree with most of the above.

Shula Vs Urbain"Spurrier"Meyers

This game is perfect picture of Florida having their asses handed to them!

If it can happen, it will happen!

Alabama is going to welcome Steve Spurrier Meyers to the S.E.C. lunacy.
Did see how Tennesse welcomed Les Miles at LSU to the S.E.C.? Did you see Miles expressions in the 2nd half? Like, what in the hell happen.

You can throw out all your stats and past performances because they are useless in southern college football scenarios like we have in this game.

The party's over...Alabama wins this one.

"been there done that seen that"

best of luck gentleman

Joe, you are one of my favorite cappers here, and i definitely don't like to see you on the other side, but this one will be all Gators. Alabama's secondary gets exposed and Shula gets outcoached again!

This one is different teams and different coaches!!! CHOMP

Not an Bama or Auburn fan. Been to a lot of games on both sides. Michigan fan here. So I always get both fans talking at me all the time. Hear everthing.

Stadium will be louder this year than it has in recent. Fans actually have something to get excited about. Over the past few years injuries have kepts the fans verve down.

Bama DBs are the ones to worry about, not their O-line.
Leak will have a good day, but so will Croyle. Both secondays are vulnerable.

This is going to be a chess match. Not betting on it because I am going and I cant hedge my bet if I pick the wrong side. This one could truly go either way. But if someone put a gun to my head and made me lay a dime on the game, it would be on FL ML.

GL to all the braver souls than I that lay money on this one.
