You have to remember the ref practically took away 7pts from USC saying BUSH INC pass. Not to mention momentum. If USC gets up 7 on any team, it changes everything. Then you also have to remember USC injured punter Malone kicked the ball down the middle when the play designed for him to kick it the left side of the field. USC has nobody on right side of field. Only 3 players. ASU took advantage of it. Props to them. That iresulted in a 14pt swing.
Then you have to factor in USC killing themselves offensively with penalties. KILLED drives. Refs were valid with those calls. USC's fault.
No team in the country is good enough to overcome these obstacles ON THE ROAD. Well USC is but I doubt anybody else. USC needs to figure out how to play 4 quarters of football. But to be honest, breaks went against USC against both Oregon and ASU in 1st halfs. Funny thing is BOTH huge breaks came during BULL$HIT instant replays. Amazing. NCAA doesn't want USC to win 3 NC's in a row.
Most importantly, the inexperience of USC's offensive coordinators showed today. But for USC's sake, only for 2 quarters. Great adjustments in 2h. I think USC is too in love with Reggie Bush. Lendale White is the best running back.
I think ASU played great but I can't give them a whole lot of props. USC is 20+ pts better than ASU and ASU IMO is a legit top 10 team in the country. That is how good ASU is. Only weakness is their DL. That begs the question, why did USC take so long to use Lendale White?
BTW, if Arizona St. had Lendale White and USC's DL, they would be National Champions! 3-4 players away! Scary if you think about.
Keller will be the best Pac 10 QB next year. Prob. the best QB in the country. Guy is a stud!
