Problem is that these aren't the same Bengals as the past 17 years. Trends we used to use for them are pretty much useless. Lewis has one of the best offenses in the league going right now and the defense is very opportunistic, not too mention that now they actually have a home-field advantage, I believe they are sold out for the season. Also the fact that Palmer has been fired from Houston and their offense is in a bit of disarray.

Hard to bet against the Bengals. This team has got something going. Also the Texans have not looked like the same competitive team theyve been the last 2 seasons. goodluck Ill pass

Bungals in a teaser looks good, but don't like the straight up laying that wood.

They could come out a bit flat for this one, and barely sneak by at the end.

I agree this isn' t your fathers Bengals. I fact, I think one could argue thru the first 3 weeks, no other team has looked better. However, this is the NFL and Cincy has won and covered its' first 3 contests thus far. On the flip side one might say no other team has looked worse than the Texans. The bye week , a new offensive scheme , and most importantly the trends which favor Houston are the reasons why they will cover this week. :)

Good luck in whatever you play...

Very good logic and trend analysis but every year there is one team that bucks all the trends. Cincy might be that team this year.
I hope the Texans show up for you, they havnt so far this season.
Thats why they play the games. Goodluck

2 more for Sunday

2 more for Sunday

NYG are 5-16 ATS @ home following a road loss and are just 11-23-1 ATS @ home vs non division teams.

Pick: Stl +3.5

Balt is 21-6 ATS @ home vs non division teams and 7-3 ATS their last 10 as a home favorite of 3.5 to 9.5 points.

Pick: Baltimore -7

Good Luck Gentlemen.

Being a Fresno State Alum I like David Carr, but his team stinks thus far...can't pull the trigger on that one...but good luck to you.

I've been on this game since the opening line was posted. I can't jump off now.
