2 game 6.5 point Teaser
Carolina Panthers -1 and Over 36.5

(the 6.5 point Teaser is used because ?37? is a common number for a total...24-13, 27-10, 20-17 etc.)

Packers Qb Brett Favre enters Week # 4 with a horrible 72.7 passer rating mainly because he?s been sacked already seven times this season and his favorite target last year Javon Walker is out for the season?the interior of his O-line took a hit in FA as he lost both of his starting Guards Marco Rivera and Mike Wahle?Favre will have to face one of the better D-lines in the game tonight and DE Julius Peppers is one of the better all around pass rushers in the league?in the past Favre relied on Hb Ahman Green when the going was tough?but? Ahman Green looks like a mere shadow of the back that dominated the league back in 2003 and his decline started during the 2004 season?on the flip side?the Packers have a lousy Defense especially in their secondary allowing 206 passing yards per game including 7 TD?s?the Packers ?D? will have their hands full tonight as Carolina's Jake Delhomme is one of the better QB?s in the league despite getting off to a rather rough start?I expect the Panthers to be able to run the football with Stephen Davis and DeShaun Foster because the Packers Defense can?t commit to putting 7 or 8 men in the box because they don?t have the talent to compensate and I feel the Panthers passing game and WR Steve Smith should enjoy a good night?Smith broke his leg in the game vs the Packers last season and is coming off of an 11 catch 3 TD performance against the Dolphins? all in all?Brett Favre lacks the supporting cast to turn this season around and I believe he?s been forcing his passes this season just trying to make things happen?Hall of Fame Coach Marv Levy once said something to the effect that ?when a player thinks about retirement?he?s already retired??and Brett Favre is playing like he?s already there?this is a HUGE Revenge game for the Panthers tonight since the Packers beat them in Carolina on opening night last season which in reality cost the Panthers a playoff spot...I can see the Packers giving it their all to ?right their ship? tonight?but it won?t be enough playing on the road in front of a loud sellout crowd with revenge on it?s mind?I teased it because I can see at least 37 points being scored tonight and getting the Panthers -1 is great value just in case the Packers find a way to get a backdoor cover.

Last nights game was a prime example of expect the unexpected on Monday Nights...which was the reason I teased the game...Like I said in my post..Tease it!..just in case the Packers find a way to get a backdoor cover.
