boy if you go off common opponet this line would swallow every cent for Cal ....

the line was even LW, im surprised it moved to ucla now, but maybe ucla patches things back up b/c i thought they looked absolutely pathetic vs UW, their tackling was girlish--if they were looking ahead fine, but what have they done in last 4 years or so to warrant that ... pac-10 opener and lucky as heck to win; Drew bottled to nothing and UW outyarded Bruins, if not for UW's called back 50 TD burst late in game (on a block that IMO had nothing to do with play), UW wins SU (yes I know ucla had punt called back) ... UCLA converted a 4/2 at midfield in closing moments or woulda lost too ... FWIW I am not a husky fan at all, actually can't stand them, never have (their yupppie fans are quiet silent these days)

Anyone have info on injuires to either club ... I sure favor Tedford in the coaching dept.

Cal +1.5 woudl be my pick at the moment ...

Im sure Bruins will be chewed on all week tho ...

HUGE game for both schools, their focus shouldnt be much of factor, its their execution that counts ... UCLA lost their top wr a bit ago and they say Bruins had a lot of backup talent but this is type of game he prob makes big diff ... Olson threw poorly, almost INT a couple times more than he was ...

I made the line UCLA -6, but I admit I have not studied Cal games this year. My handicapper friend from Cal knows his team, but not UCLA, and he made the game UCLA -1.5. I guess he couldn't see Cal winning the game unless it were played on a neutral field.

Bruins basically mailed it in last week, and that takes CAJONES after their recent history. But Bruin teams have ALWAYS played with that kind of attitude, even under Donohue.

I would not lay six, but I would lay 1.5. (fwiw)

alos think, like the UW game, my rare suggestion for a total to U60, that with cal's shakey passing game and stingy D, U59.5 might be good play once again

So. Cal
in case people havent seen cal at all this year....their qb ayoob is HORRIBLE.

8 in the box
stop the run
and they can be beat

i like ucla....even though im worried about them regressing (as usual) after the hot start

Tedford has had success with JUCO's but I'm not sold on Ayoob.

CAL is overrated.

im going to look into the under. as mentioned before ayoob is awful, and Ucla should stack the line. Cal has a very good defense

Not too impressed with CAL. Ayoob hasn't looked great against the 4 $hit teams they've played this year. Marshawyn Lynch seems to get injured every 3rd play, and I don't knwo how many of you said this, but thsi is a big rivalry game. Sure CAL Stanford / USC UCLA, but these two teams have no love lost and should make for an interesting game.

Personally think UCLA played down to their competition last week and CAL is overrated. I think UCLA will take this one by at least one TD

Even if Lynch gets injured or didn't play, Forsett isn't too shabby himself. As good of a 1-2 punch at the running back spot in the country.

As long as Ayoob doesn't get turnover crazy, Cal should be fine.

I haven't seen the huge coaching mismatch mentioned yet...
