NFL teams that win on the road are 1386-163 ATS. i'm not sure Indy's ATS record is all that special.

Indy is 1-2 ATS when laying >=10 on the road however.

nfl teams are 35-25 ATS when laying >=10 on the road.

those stats are from around 1988 thru week 4 of 2005.

Not feeling so confident betting this week. Too many "iffy" games.
Colts didnt cover when playing cleveland. But then again if Ariz can light it up against the 49er's, why cant the colts do the same. Also playing in sanfran, do the colts scoring go down like the rams? Or is that comparing apples to oranges? Its like a big upset special this week.

Question for Senor Capper...

Question for Senor Capper...

Last week you posted the following:

After a non-covering home win, certain road teams have been weak. As described, these visitors have won only one game, while losing every spread decision in 10 seasons.

PS10-26 (34.9) ? Play AGAINST a non-.500% road team with a TOTAL of 47 points or less off a home SU win of 2+ points and ATS loss scoring 28+ points as a favorite of 8 points or less in its last game.

SU: 12-1 (12.8) ATS: 13-0 (10.9)

Does the "play against" team have to have a record BELOW .500? Just wondering, cause CAR would be a "play against" team this weekend if that criteria is .500 or below. Thanks.

Senor,
Cards actually looked decent moving the ball Sun night (wait, did I actually just SAY that???). As many FG's as they kicked, they could have scored a bunch more. Even though they do not qualify for this system play, I still like them at home vs. an east coast team making the trip west on a short week, off a tough Mon night game. Looking fwd to the rest of your plays...

Good job last week on the Picks, I did switch my KC to Eagles on Sunday , maybe a homer move I guess and work out not like I thought, but everyone was on KC bandwagon. This week everyone will be the Eagles Jocks straps and that low line in Big D is something to watch. I think it will rise as the week goes on, if not then the linemakers must know something I don't know. Because the only way there is an upset in Dallas is that McNabb does not play or finish the game. Other than that with Bledsoe and that secondary the Pokes are in big DU DU.
I do love those Colts and Denver over another undefeated fraud team the Skins. Miami and Buff, I will lay off that one. Not cold enough. As for the other Games, I agree flip a coin, Except for that NE game, Brady never lost 2 inrow. I like the Pats

Like the Denver play but have to disagree with the Buffalo play. I'm sure the Worm has Smashes and Mushes on it but I disagree.

re: curious buffalo backing--and holcombe in

re: curious buffalo backing--and holcombe in

was gonna chime in--as have been follower of your posts for sometime--and respect opinions--buut was curious as to how you came to support BUF so? then only to read further down in seein Losman is not going< if thats true--which i'm not doubting here as hes been a poor play thus far, then i would hafta reconsider my thought of BUF being a bad play. if its that same holcombe that play for CLV? then he has shown he can move a team down the field, which is than i can give Losman credit for.
--Curious senor if your BUF was pick was based any BUF starting QB--or other factors? -thanx -t

I doesn't matter who starts for Buffalo. They can handle Miami at home. It will be a close game of course though. Not gonna bet more than a buck on it, that's for sure.

Correct. It doesn't matter who starts. I realize it's only Week 5 but I firmly believe that it's now or never for the Bills season. They lose this one & kiss them goodbye.

A few trends, for those who follow 'em....

Miami is just 3-13 ATS off a bye.

Buffalo is 9-1 ATS in Division play, afetr facing 3> non-division opponents & add they're 50-19 ATS vs. an opponent off a SU win.
