12-6 in my last 18 wagers/posts and I'm on the Colts-13.5 and Over 51 for Monday Night!

Now for the Big game on Saturday!

Drum Roll Please! :Yep:

Notre Dame +11.5
Over USC

The Trojans have pounded the Irish by 30 or more points in each of the last 3 seasons? but that was then? and this is now?the Irish and new head coach Charlie Weis have had an extra week to prepare for this one and with the experience of Coach Weis an his staff it will be a big plus for their game on Saturday?the Irish are 4-1SU on the season but their one loss came at home to Michigan State in O.T?the Trojans are coming off of back to back come from behind road wins over Arizona State and Oregon and both games revealed that the USC Defense is a much weaker unit then the ones they fielded over the last two seasons?this week?that USC Defense will be facing a Notre Dame Offense that has been explosive this season because of the excellent QB play of Brady Quinn which can be credited to the superb offensive game planning by Head Coach Charlie Weis?this matchup the Notre Dame Offense vs the USC Defense is just one reason I believe the Irish is the play this week?now on the flip side?the USC offense with Qb Matt Leinart at the controls in my mind is the Best in College football today?however?I?ve saved the best for last?USC tailback Reggie Bush a sure fire Top 3 overall pick in the upcoming Draft (if he declares) suffered a knee injury in last weeks game?his status for this weekends game has yet to be determined but it?s a good bet that if he somehow manages to play?he will be far less then 100%...as far as I?m concerned?as Reggie Bush goes?so goes the USC offense?yes the Trojans have HB Lendale White an excellent back?but he lacks the explosiveness of Bush? the USC offense and special teams (Bush doubles as a return man) will suffer if Bush is unable to go on Saturday?I?m taking my chances and hitting this one now because I feel that Bush will be hard pressed to play at his usual explosive level and if it?s revealed that he may miss this game altogether then I can see this line dropping to -10 by Saturday?all in all?I?ll take the Home Dog Irish plus the generous 11.5 points in this one to cover the number on Saturday!

For starters Oregon and ASU have EXPLOSIVE offenses. Not many teams in the country are better offensively and USC played both teams on the road in back to back weeks. I wouldn't say the USC D is "much weaker" than the one they fielded last 2 years. They are not as experienced but they are a hell of a lot faster. I thought the USC D played great against Oregon and ASU. My opinion of course.

USC tailback Reggie Bush a sure fire Top 3 overall pick in the upcoming Draft (if he declares) suffered a knee injury in last weeks game?his status for this weekends game has yet to be determined but it?s a good bet that if he somehow manages to play?he will be far less then 100%...as far as I?m concerned?as Reggie Bush goes?so goes the USC offense?

He has a bruised knee and he practiced yesterday and will be fine for Sat. The bruise knee cost Bush 2 days of practice in contact drills, that is it. He'll be ready to go!

yes the Trojans have HB Lendale White an excellent back?but he lacks the explosiveness of Bush?

Let me fill you in. Lendale White is a legit Heisman quality running back. The guy is a stud and IMO much better player than Reggie Bush. He would average at least 175 yards per game if he was the featured back. He is VERY explosive for his size. Amazing running back that deserves the same press Bush and Leinart get. Right now of all the USC players, I think Lendale White will have the best career in the NFL. He is an NFL RB playing CFB. Way too easy for him.

I think if you asked Weis who he rather carry the rock for USC, Bush or White, I bet you he would say Bush!

Although I'll be rooting for a 30+ pt win, I will be a very happy man if your prediction comes true! I have no $$$ on the game. Nice write-up!

You are right about White being a legitimate Heisman candidate but as far as being a much better player then Bush I have to strongly disagree with you and so would about 32 other NFL teams...if Reggie declares for the Draft after this season he's a lock to be a Top 5 pick overall in the Draft...as for White...he has an excellent chance to be taken in the first round of the Draft but is far from being a Top 5 pick overall like Reggie Bush is...Bush is one of those rare players that carries a "potential difference maker
" label on his back.

Good Luck on your plays this week and I've read some of your play posts = Good Stuff! :)

Good Luck on your plays this week!

The line has dropped to USC -11!

I hope it keeps dropping and make it that much easier for USC. I think SC will pound ND and leave no doubt as to why they're ranked #1.

im surprised scott had something to say on this topic ; )

scott, you in town yet? were you in town to see the sox win last night? omG!!!! that play was completely bananas.... i swear it stopped the 20/40 hold'em game at the casino i was playing at.

btw, the weekend forecast is gunna be pristine for an ND outright win....

any chance you guys are leaving the SC band at home??? i think that band plays a recorded track non-stop... you know that little medley after every damn positive offensive play???

I've been on a Hot streak easily covering the 11.5 but i for one thought that Weis did a great job of clock management all game keeping the trojans offense off the field until the last 2 minutes...You can't give that offense that mush time to drive down the field!

13-6 now on my last 19 wagers/posts!

of course your on a hot streak with the "public" hammering ND yesterday... all that wasted typing by the "geniuses" in here... that time was hit hard to go from 10/11 > 13.5 before game time. i took the + number in three different spots. 10.5 was a great number so was 13.5. big, bad USC... gimme a f'n break... you check the other threads that ive posted in regarding this game and you know how i feel about USC. my betting side and ND moneyline play were viable and certified... wait until ND recruiting catches up...

UT is gunna end this USC (new york yankee payroll) run in january... and, leinart and bush are gunna need CAT scans when the TX speed team "shock and awe's" them.

whens this goof with the UT helmet who cheers for USC gunna post about how TX is gunna rip USC? i hope you really nailed that SC side yesterday my man... at least i can take some margin of happiness over all the posters who just LOVED that line.
