YTD Results
- 23 units ($500 unit)
- $11,500

Interesting week 6. Good news is I finish +1.9 units ahead despite coming into Sat -6.8 units but it could have been a monster week. Lost 6.8 units during the week and won huge 8.7 units on Sat. I won my 10 unit play with Indiana, but middled half of it 2h ML for 5 units to win 7 units. I was getting the middle with 11 min. to go in the 4th. The middle was Indiana winning by 7-10pts I win both bets!! Of course I don't get lucky. If I hit that middle it would have been a 17 unit WIN on that game alone!!!!! If I didn't middle, I would have won 6.9 units for the week. Take out my weekday losers, and it would have been a 13.7 unit week. :( Oh how I was so close to having a monster weekend. I had the over in TCU game, 14pts shy heading into the 4th and neither team scores in the 4th. If I win that game, I have a 7.9 unit week.

But I can't complain because on a personal note, I won big with Angels winning west and Angels winning game 2 in MLB playoffs (which was extremely tight). Which helps greatly in my quest to get back all of my CFB losses!

Week 7 plays

6 units
Baylor +3 -120 over Nebraska

5 units
Nevada pk -108 over Louisiana Tech (pinny)

1 unit
NC ST. -5 over Clemson

********

Edit1: added NC St. -5

Hey Scott, I know some folks might think this is kind of rude, but a while ago you posted RAYMONDs football record. I was wondering if your friend happened to keep his records for a few years back for NFL. I laboriously went through last years picks and i'll have to dig it up again, but he was up something like 15-20 units for the season. I really don't want to do that for previous years again though, that took like 4 hours. Thanks

I doubt it. If he has I'll post it. Why don't you first ask Raymond how he has done in the NFL the last few years. Good luck!

Adding 1 unit NC ST. -5 over Clemson (pinny)

Just realized I never posted my NC ST. wager. You can still get NC ST. -5 -112 right now @Pinny. I got -102.

Could you give me some insight into the UCLA-WSU line? 5.5 seems very low and weird. What do you think of that matchup? Is there some history there that keeps the line low?

Thanks

Off the wall ?, but do you know where online I could find a list of the career rushing and passing leaders for USC?

Link

USC Career Rushing Leaders

Charles White (Heisman)
6517 yards 5.44 average

Marcus Allen (Heisman)
5047 yards 5.16 average

Anthony Davis (should have won a Heisman)
3928 yards 4.75 average

Ricky Bell
3857 yards 5.20 average

OJ Simpson (Heisman but should have won 2 Heismans and is prob. the greatest RB of all time)
3540 yards 5.08 average (only played 2 years @USC)

Mike Garrett (Heisman and USC's current AD)
3313 yards 5.27 average

USC Career Passing Leaders

UCLA has struggled against WSU. Especially @WSU. WSU plays well against UCLA. But the good news if your thinking about taking UCLA is the players really seem focused and are aware they have struggled badly vs WSU. I think UCLA covers the spread for this reason. M. Drew is something else. Amazing player and he was going to come to USC but USC took 3 RB's ahead of him (Bush, White, and Washington) and he did not want to be the 4th RB commit to USC compete with those 3. (who all were rated higher than him)

I think against WSU UCLA uses their super star TE Lewis. The guy is a mismatch and he only caught 1 ball against CAL. STUPID! It is extremely difficult to stop this guy. I think UCLA QB is to blame for not looking at Lewis and that will be fixed this week. Maybe there is bad blood between the 2 players but IMO QB Olson has to look at Lewis as 1st option every time. The guy is a stud!

I think UCLA wins by 10pts if the weather is decent. Bad weather I would not bet this game.

I think WSU wins this game straight up.

UCLA will be tired from their battle last week and WSU will be chomping at the bit to knock these guys off.

I think they do it.

If UCLA can somehow sneak out with a win, no way will they cover.

FG win at best, but I think they go down straight up.

I keep licking my chops and watching the USC/ND line drop. I'm all over SC this week! They will win convincingly over the Irish.

Adding 3 units Central Michigan -6 (Olympic)

Adding 2 units Ohio/Central Michigan (U 47.5) (pinny)

Adding 1 unit Iowa State/Missouri (U 56.5) (pinny)

Looking to add 1 or 2 more units Nevada.

Looking to add big bet on Florida over LSU.

If USC line goes to -10, I think it be a great play! I think USC wins 41-24.

scott, can you do me a favor and look something up in the USC bible? i just cant seem to recall which team has more heisman trophy winners - ND or USC? :) you know i dig your style and your input... just having some fun. ill tell you what i dont like, this UT helmet input that just "loves" USC. now, go ahead and tell me how much you "love" USC so UT can give them theyre first loss in the rose bowl and i can live with that. but, if you dont post that, i demand to see your great state of TX drivers license cuz i dont believe where your from.

uh oh... there go that little birdy again... he got something to say... he talking to me... the little birdy say....
