I will post all of my ALCS and NLCS plays in this thread. Starting with Anaheim in game one tonight. The Angels will ride the momentum of last night's victory over the Yankees into this contest. The time off will hurt Chicago in this spot. The public is overreacting to the cross-country travel Anaheim endured last night. Take the Angels at a great price.

Houston & St. Louis
UNDER 7.5

I'm playing both dogs tonight due to the great value. One, if not both dogs will cash, and I'll make a nice profit. As far as the under is concerned, I believe Pettitte and Carpenter will have their best stuff tonight. If that's the case, we should see some "small ball" played in the early to middle innings.

The Angels played on pure adrenaline in Chicago. The fatigue will begin to show back in Anaheim.

RTL...hi, I'm not trying to call you out on this one, but just to respectfully express an opinion.

Adrenalin is not something that lasts only a couple of days, it can go on for weeks. This is the playoffs, for goodness sakes! Haven't you seen hockey players go flat out for a month in a much faster and harder hitting game? (Don't worry, I'm not going to post any hockey tips tonite in your thread.) And these are *baseball players*, for cripes sakes! If they are fatigued, they are a pretty pathetic breed of professional athletes, and they wouldn't say that themselves. Even ordinary people, in a crisis, or even on (say) a wilderness canoeing trip, can keep adrenalin going for a very long time.

Again, I'm not trying to call you out, just to suggest a different angle on your fatigue theory. But good luck tonite on your bet, even tho I'm against you.

Personally, I think that tonite Lackey has the opportunity to take the place of Colon as the go-to guy for the Angels. And he is rested and so are all the other guys. So let's cap it as we see it, on its own merits. Sorry to be so contentious, it's just that you got me thinking...always a bad thing! ;)

Yanno,

No problem! That's what this forum is all about. We can agree to disagree. Lackey sure did look fatigued in the 1st inning. Absolutely no bite to his curve ball. Good luck to you!

Cardinals & Astros
UNDER 8

Clemens will allow 1 or 2 runs at most, and the Astros won't give him any run support. It's been the pattern all year long. Why should it change now?
