Need to get back in the forum where the big boys play. Back to my safety net. Those college kids put way to much stress on the ticker. Not that these "pros" don't do a number on my sanity, I'm just luckier in the NFL :grins:
I know some of these plays are public favorites but once again I had to take advantage of the free half point last night. Carolina @+2 is a gift. I just can't see Joey and his kittens winning two games in a row. And if they should pull some kind of miracle I think it's by no more than a point.
KC is another public favorite and with Roaf coming back tomorrow maybe Green will have more time to throw and get some scores thru the air. (if not, at least hit Kennison for some fantasy points :look: ) Combined with Priest and Larry Johnson running the ball I feel the Chiefs will put a big increase on the scoring average of the Skins defense. Like the value of -5 here.
Really, really wanna take my Bears tomorrow against the media darlings :mj07: Bears always play the Vikings great at home and with all the public distraction with the fine citizens of this Minnesota team I'm this close to pulling it! The leadership of our young "Jack Daniels swiggin' qb" and the uncertainty of the staus of Thomas Jones still concerns me. I'll probably just make a wager at our annual Bears/Vikings keg and pasta fiesta tomorrow. Probably won't find anyone in the pro-bear crowd to take the Vikes though :wall:
Had a chance to take the Falcons @-5. With the probable return of Vick and the depletion of the Saints (still not sure about Horn) it looks sweet. Sweet enough to shy away from this one.
Don't think the Ravens are an offensive unit that can afford to give anyone 6- points. Dilfer has an axe to grind against his old team and if last week's performance gives him any confidence he can certainly put up some points against this defense. They're far from the defensive unit they once were. Don't think I've ever cheered for Trent before but I'll be rootin' him on tomorrow. May just need one TD pass to Antonio Bryant for the cover (or the s/u victory) :sadwave:
Will the return of Ricky bring a cover to the Fins tomorrow? Status of the cadilac? (he won't be 100%) Like Miami getting 4- here. If it comes down to matching wits with Saban and Gruden I'll definitely take the points.
Onto the winners of the day......

Got my doggies fed, watered, and on their leashes. Ready to walk 'em to the pay window. IMHO I think they all have a good chance of winning straight up :scared Just hope they fare as well as BA's college doggies did yesterday. Enjoy your day guys...and don't hesitate to boo or harass those Minnesota perverts everytime they get the ball :mj07: :mj14: :mj14:
