Let's see...

best team v worst.

laying 2 td+ on the road in a divisional game

off a Monday Night win, one of the best go againsts there is...

all points to a Houston cover.

I'm sure there are a few college teams that could take care of Houston :yup one that I can think of is close by ;)

THAT TEAM IS BRUTAL :s1:

You maybe be right but I can find a dollar than I would put on them. :sadwave:

No way Houston covers this, like throwing money away, mid season faves starting to cover over bad teams. Houston is garbage, so is Minny. This play would be like throwing money away.

Indy -14? @ Oly

At first I thought this game was in Indy, and I had guessed a line of about -22. Which is just insane for an NFL game, but maybe not too far off what it actually will be. If Indy covers this one big I think we'll likely see a 3 TD+ line in the rematch @ Indy in Week 10.

Ok, here is my 2 cents.....

Did you watch last nights game? The Colts, already laying 14, spotted the rams ANOTHER 17 points in less than 10 minutes, and still came back to win by 17! I mean , the colts only really played 3 and half quarters. I don't remember when their offense first came onto the field, but it had to have been at least 7 or 8 minutes into the game. And there is no way that Houston is any better than STL. Houston just got pounded by Seattle (a rams clone) by what, 32! IF Indy does not cover, its only because they will get backdoored by just trying to run out the clock in the second half. Yes, Houston MIGHT cover, but I can't justify putting the $$$ on a bad team against one that is so good......

I agree Sun Tzu... Look at the last 4 years when the Colts play the Texans in Houston. They know how to play against the Colts offense. Their defense never lets the Colts beat them deep.

I like Houston to cover this game... But I wont bet on it there are better games to be played.

Anyone know the stat of a team that is home on MNF, COVERS on MNF, then goes on the road for their next game that coming sunday and not covering...I played that angle a lot and have won most of the time...I dont know the stat, but some old timer gave me that recipe like 3 years ago and anytime the situation came about I played it and did pretty well in the past. I am 2-1 so far this year playing this angle...

Situations This Year:

09/12 Phily @ Atl...Atl covers -1.5 score 10-14, following sunday, Atl @ Seattle, Atl +1.5 does not cover loses 18-21 (W)

09/19 NO @ NYG, NYG covers -7 score 10-27, following sunday, NYG @ SD, NYG +7 does not cover, loses 23-45 (W)

09/26 KC @ DEN, DEN -3 covers, score 10-30, following sunday, DEN @ JAX, DEN +4 covers, score 20-7 (L)

09/17 StL @ Indy, Indy +13.5 covers, 27-45, following sunday, Indy goes to Houston, outside, real grass...

the spread is 14.5, I think I will play it...Maybe Indy does not get up for this game...short week, outside on grass...I would not count Houston out just yet...but it would be like a 1 unit play for me because they are playing Houston. Like Longhorn said though...many other better plays this sunday.

GLA! :yup
