Berkman and you baseball experts......Explain this to me??

After watching Gm 4 vs Atlanta and tonights game...........

Can someone who knows a little about baseball expalin to me why would you even give Berkman a pitch to hit and drive..........

Correct if I am wrong but there is no one on Houston that has the pop that Berkman has.......Yeah Ausmus tied up the Gm vs the Braves but I think that was just a lucky swing..........

Bottom line to me is.......why even give Berkman a chance.......I could see if Houston had sluggers up amd down the lineup but they are really a pretty weak hitting team........ besides Berkman......

Yeah but the Cards do have some more guys with some "pop"........Edmonds, Walker and even Sanders where as the Stros dont really have many sluggers.

Dont get me wrong ...they are still a very good team but they dont have a lot of power except for Berky.......
