Spoke to someone I know with the Texans. Supposedly they have their sights set on Pete Carroll and are already going through channels. Mcnair willing to spend whatever it takes. Probably an added bonus that they may be staring at a Number 1 pick with Leinhart.

Doubt it will happen since Carroll has stated in the past that he did not enjoy the atmosphere of the NFL and he pretty much has a lifetime position at USC. Personally, I think he would be a above average NFL coach but they would really need to overpay to get him to change.
going with Leinhart would be foolish...Carr is not a bad quarterback, he still posseses all the tools that made him a #1 pick a few years back and all he needs is a good line...he is toughness can only be overshadowed by that of Favre and McNair...the guy is ridiculous, he takes hits every week at an average of 7 sacks a game and still comes out and tries all he can...once he has Johnson back he will have his key target...my opinion if they get Carroll and/or a #1 Pick:

LMAO - not sure they could play worse even on purpose.
They still have Clowns and Cards at home, and at Niners. Those are at least theoretically winnable.

The texans need tons of help. Leinahart imo will not be a good NFl Qb. But Carr is ruined.
They have no o-line, no pass rushers, no 2nd receiver. Robinson is a very good corner - that is about it. The truly have only 4 or 5 players any other team might want. I am not sure how they rebuild. To me you find a bad ass left tackle in the first round, grab a good wr in the 2nd round, and overpay for a free agent pass rusher in fa. And go from there.
