Both of these guys are injured, Jayson Taylor with a troublesome foot & Junior Seau with a calf. Game is on Friday now, so they are more questionable than ever. Weds. Taylor was on crutches and in a protective boot, hoping to play on Sunday. He is one of, if not the, focal point of the Fins defense. I would have to think that this is a big uplift to the KC Priest Holmes rushing attack.

Plus, earlier KC was a pick 'em, now you get +110 on that or a couple of points, your choice. Perhaps that aspect is balanced out a bit by KC having to pack up quickly and abruptly travel, but Miami still has to defend, and without these 2 guys at full (or maybe no) strength, they will be lacking.
Miami also has a new coach and he will be lacking experience and harder pressed to come up with and implement a formidable game plan.
I guess I am leaning KCity here, but will be watching the injury report closely.........I am local, so I should be able to do that.

yeh, pt1, you may be right about jr. however, it is still a spot they need to fill/replace for the game. JT is my main point of interest here. Still no definite word out of fine camp on his status, probably game time decision. But, he didn't practice this week and like I noted, he is on crutches.

Taylor is very important, but I don't think that one defensive player will make the differnece here.

I like Miami.

Thanks for the info Hitman.

Keep up the good work.

U R welcome, Bill. Usually, I don't place an over abundance of weight on one player, but Taylor is VIP to the D and I just feel like his loss will open up KC's running game. Holmes can be devastating when given an opening. I also feel that KC is the more talented team, here. Miami definitely is playing better at home than on the road, tho.
It will probably just be a normal one unit bet on my part without Taylor.
GL for your week.

Taylor's injury is now labeled as plantar faciatis (sic?) . It is a very painful burning sensation in the foot and will hamper him for the season. Itwas described as an injury that will ahve to be torn some more, then allowed to heal. In addition, several other Fins went down in tonite's agme.
