agree with player- beltran's postseason was one of the best in recent history. didnt he have something like 8 or 10 homers in the postseason? it was just nuts. never seen a guy locked in like that in a long time, at least in the playoffs.
incidentally, derek lee's april this year was downright crazy too. certainly all for naught, but he was just pounding the ball and getting every clutch hit .... with zero protection
