Well we know for sure the result would have been different in 1985, and probably 1919. But good grief, the pale hose has been handed wins and momentum in not one but two series.

Sox got hosed in 1994 with the strike. They had best team and baseball and best record in American League when they shut the season down(going off memory, could be wrong). Would that have translated to a w.s. win? who knows?

I wouldn't worry too much about the astros. They still have plenty of life when they get back to houston and this game isn't even over yet.
