Just saw the line at LSU -44 and the total is 48. Just thought I would get some opinions on it?

Nope, wont be at the LSU game, have to go to Omaha to a friends wedding reception. Sold tickets for 450 though. 400% return, better than gambling.!!

It's cool Juu3, disagree, but how many times would you lay 54 pts of chalk on a team that screws itself like LSU? NT +53 and over 35 sounds pretty good to me!

Plus, with Alabama comin up in 2 weeks they will probably start pulin starters when they get up 4 or 5 TD's. They will do the same thing against Appalachian St..

I see this game as one that has to be played, but not a statement game as big SEC games are coming up. They will get the comfortable lead and then pull the main starters...

10 units on North Texas to cover and 10 units on the over.

Tease both 2 points to eliminate the chance of losing money.

Worst case scenario, you drop the vig and the bought points. Best case scenario, a cover and an over and +20 units !!

I've read and re-read this several times and still cannot figure it out.... How does a tease "eliminate the chance of losing money"???

At the time of posting (lines have changed a liittle ) Buying 2 points on either side would make it +46 and an over 46. 2 Seperate bets.

The tease doesnt eliminate money loss but a tesase of +53 and over 39 sounds real nice, huh?

The only way to eliminate loss is to hedge 2 bookies against each other with a plus and minus odds. Everyonce and a while you run across a ten basis point spread and can increase your bankroll 5% guaranteed! But it only happens once a week and you have to be quick. Halftime lines are easy and well known for this if you are quick. Just watch a line if it goes over +111 then you can buy and know you are going to find a -110 out there, but you are looking for a 4 basis point spread or better. to make it worth tying up your money.

Example: on Pinny
Toledo -9.5 +109
Central Michigan +9.5 -119

But on Betroyal
Toledo -9.5 -115
Central Michigan +9.5 -105

You have a 4 basis point spread from +109 to -105

To keep even numbers and to show the bet:
Bet 98 on Toledo -9.5 +109 to win $106.82
Bet 105 on Central Michigan +9.5 -105 to win $100

If Toledo Covers you win $1.82
If Central Michigan Covers you win $2.00

Since its a sure bet or push, could be a 1.82% or 2% bankroll increase everybet!

But that takes the fun out of it. The biggest drawback is you are probably gonna continuously win against an agressive bookie and continually lose against a conservative bookie. Where the real money comes into play is the re-up bonuses. It isnt your money so you are still winning on one side and either winning or losing someone elses money.
