Oswalt and Garner lost that game yesterday, not Astacio. Garner didn't go near the mound to settle Oswalt down in the 5th. Hes mismanaged this series poorly, but I don't think the players have quit. They just aren't that great a hitting team. Although down 3, Houston hasn't gotten a break, but i don't think they give up. They might very well lose, but too many veterans to roll over.
CWS is clearly the better team top to bottom, but I think the stros can muster at least one victory here.

Man, I would think that Houston would win at least one, but the way they hit last night, I can't see it. Ensberg was pathetic at the plate. He looked lost up there and so did Biggio late in the game.

I would like to see them break one open, but if it is close, I can't see them pulling it out. They are too tight, and other than Berkman, really don't seem capable of coming up with a clutch hit. Everett, Ensberg, Ausmus have been absolutely pathetic at the plate. Not even a good swing once in a while. At least Bagwell lets it fly.

Astros show why they are the wildcard. No power on their lineup.
Last night was proof of it. They had runners on bottom of many late innings and couldn't score. White Sox are too good for the Astros. Runner on 3rd 1 out. Squeeze play called ..Outcoached

BDB....I am on board the sinking ship tonight. Thinking that Garner has no choice but to put all hands on deck tonight. This skipper can't just rearrange the chairs on the deck of his sinking ship.

Gotta believe that every arm.....starter or reliever will be situationally available when and where necessary to stay alive tonight?? At least you'd think that would be Garner's mindset???

Who knows......it'll be evident early in this game......all out for a "W" or "throw in the towel" and call it a season!
