Any SEC team who might finish undefeated should also jump over Texas in SOS. WTF kind of schedule have they really played?

You really have it against Texas! :)

As USC fan, I think Texas has the best chance at beating USC. So I am hoping they get passed up or lose outright to someone. I honestly don't fear any other teams. As of right now, Texas has good SOS. (although skewed by TT) But their SOS takes a dive for the worse in the 2h of season. If media focuses on it, then Texas might get jumped. Also last year OU beat their opponents the way they should. Wonder if media focuses on this.

One thing going for Texas is Young and his Heisman campaign and Texas beating their opponents the way they should. Can't fault them there.

I am just looking at it objectively.

I hear the reasoning Texas should be #1 is because they had the best quality win. I don't consider their win over Ohio State a big deal. They beat an overrated Ohio State team. They are getting rewarded for name over quality imo.

They also beat an obvious rebuilding Oklahoma team. They beat an overhyped TT team who padded wins earlier this season.

USC's win over ND is much better then the Longhorns victory over Ohio State.

I wouldn't worry about Texas if I were you. I mean I'm starting to sound like you but giving Pete that many weeks to gameplan. I wouldn't feel confident with a moron like Mack Brown on my team.

The coaching mismatch is huge here.

Young is another fraud for Heisman. I'd give it to Basanez over him.

I would love for an SEC team to come up and play the "overrated" Buckeyes in Columbus. The problem is they won't - No SEC has the "balls" to do it. Texas does and walked away with a nice win. Instead of the SEC teams playing the likes of Lousiana-Monroe and The Mississippi Choir for retards and play some tough OCC they wouldn't put themselves in the same spot every year.

I wanted to see Auburn play USC last year. USC still would have blown their doors off, but it would have been a better matchup. I thought Auburn had a great team and it showed by how may Tigers were selected in the draft.

The pac-10 is not a quality conference. USC is the big dog with 9 other fleas on its ballsack.

I will now wait for gjn23 and Scott4USC to bash me. :mj07:

We saw what happened when Auburn schedule a home and home with USC. (wasn't Auburn pre-season #1 when USC played @Auburn)

We saw what happened when Alabama scheduled a home and home with UCLA! (Alabama was top 5 in polls at the time when they played @UCLA)

Oregon St. plays @LSU and Tigers needed the Beavers to miss 3 PAT's to win!!!!!!!

LSU travels to Arizona St. (ONLY BECAUSE OF THE HURRICANE) and needed 2 special teams TD's AND a 40 yard 4th down bomb to beat the Sun Devils!!!!!
