Did not want to add more attention than I should with the title so I left it as usual.
I do not post a lot in the NFL. . . usually like to go with college football and basketball when the season comes.
Bears +3 over Lions (My largest NFL bet all year)
Now that may not be saying much because I do put down more in college football but this is a Very Big wager for me.
Couple reasons:
1. Thomas Jones. He is so underrated its not even funny. I read in a couple other threads that they expect Orton to make mistakes. . . well, he won't have the opportunity to make a lot of mistakes with Jones in the game! This guy is a true workhorse who is the best NFL RB this year that nobody is talking about. He ran for 7 yard a carry against the Lions in the first outing. . . while I don't seem him posting the same average, he will be effective and the Bears will limit their mistakes while their defense will force Garcia and the Lions take chances.
2. Who has Garcia faced? Oh yeah, the Lions beat the Browns and everyone thinks he's a great QB! LOL. . . lets see how he does against a great defense.
GL all. . . 3 points should be huge but hopefully we don't even need them.
