I have pitt in a 3 team parlay with the first 2 winning. I did it early in the week, so I have Pitt even tonight....

The bet is about 3 times what I usually wager on a game ($165 to win $150).... which of the following would you do?

take Balt on the ML.... risk $30 to win $165... worse case break even

take balt +13.5... risk $165 to win $150.... either up $300, worse case -$15

do nothing and hope that Pitt win... up $150 or down $165

If your book offers you 3 team parlays where you lay 165 to win 150, dont ever bet there again. I hope you meant teaser

I have a buddy who is in the same boat but for much larger monies. I, a man who had he wrost day ever yesterday, would do nothing to cover this bet. I don't see anything wrong with having additional wager, either on Balt or Pitt, teased or straight. I believe you have money in the bank but, if TB could have just Won I would be where you are at three times the worry.

There are far more here wiser than I, I would wait for others to comment.

Im in the same boat, wondering the same thing. Ive got Pitt -1 and the last team in my 3 team teaser risking $360 to win $300. I also have Pitt -1.5 as the last team in another 3 point teaser risking $120 to win $100. I also have Pitt as the 2nd team in 2 differnt 7 point teasers where Pitt is -4 risking $390 to win $300 ($195 to win $150 in each)

I am usually a big fan of hedging. The only problem is Im not sure that Baltimore can stay within 4 points of Pitt? This is really a tough situation.

I agree with worm. . . leave it alone at least till halftime. If you feel the need to hedge, you shouldn't have a problem doing so even if Baltimore happens to have the lead. If the game is a blowout then you won't have to worry.

I dont mess with teasers or parlays as I believe (IMO) they are ways the "Man" is begging you to send more money his way. That said and now that you are "in" on this one, I say leave your bet be and dont add as no matter what happens you will would of could of should of yourself.

Stick to your guns and remeber, ...."if its and buts were candy and nuts we would all have a Merry Christmas!" :mj07:

Didnt read your posts but I just put $150 back on Balt +13. Thats a lot of points and it gives me a 9 point window to middle. I also put $35 on Baltimore to win which pays $210. I got burned big time yesterday. I had a few 3 teamers with Carolina/Cincy/Giants and the last team being TB. The only problem is I had TB in all of them. I was risking $1190 to win $1000. At halftime I had the option of playing SF +6.5, and I wanted to for $500, but looked at all of the stats for the game and some other HT posts and decided to lay off. I got burned big time last night. I was up $1,700 for the week and gave almost all of it back on that one game. Im not sure Baltimore can hang with Pitt especially after watching them last week in Chicago. They are not a good team, now take away their best 2 defensive players. I know that Pitt is a better team than the Bears so I really cant see how Balt can win, but I dont want to start the week off in a big hole. Without heging I have $870 to win $700. With hedging, if Baltimore wins straight up I lose $510. If Pitt covers the 4 and the 13 I win $505. If Pitt covers the 4 and doesnt cover the 13 I win $815.

I also still have HT to make a move.
