Is this a new system? Your Phoenix pick on Saturday lost.

UT,

I would appreciate it if you could explain this system to us.

I am a little unclear as to how this system works.

Also, how do you decide what teams to pick to use for the system?

I have a feeling that I am not the only one who is confused here.

Thanks a lot, and keep up the good work.

also, how does the scoring of the system add up?

if you're 2-1 tonite, how come you're not 40-1 after tonite

it looks like an awesome system!

I will fill you all in on the system. It is known as the 4-D system and it involves playing on teams for four games after a certain criteria has been met.

You have to chase each team on the moneyline for four games stopping when they have won. It can become quite frightening at times as you may have to play at -300 for some teams. Thats quite a few $$ if they've lost three in a row at -300 and the fourth game in the series they are -300 again.

As an example, lets say you have to play Dallas Stars at home for their next four home games.

Game 1 see's the Stars lined at -300. So thats $300 to win $100. Result the Stars lose.

Game 2 and the Stars are only -200. You have to wager $800 to win $400 ($300 from game 1 + $100 trying to win). Result, Dallas lose in OT.

Moving onto Game 3 and Dallas are -200 again. Now you need to win back $1200 ($800 from Game 2, $300 from Game 1 and $100 target to win). Stake is of course $2400. Result, Stars go into melt down and lose.

You now need to win $3600 in Game 4 at what if the Stars are -300. Would you wager $10,800 !!!!

FYI here is how it has performed so far to date.

ROAD TRIPS -- RT
(play against teams on 4 or more game rd trip)
Game 1 = 9-4
Game 2 = 2-1 -->against Pit nov 3
Game 3 = 1-0

WELCOME HOME --WH
(play on a team when they come home after extended road trip of 4 or more)
Game 1 = 4-3
Game 2 = 3-0

HOME STAND --HS
(play on team when at home for 4 or more games in a row)
Game 1 = 8-5
Game 2 = 4-1
Game 3 = 1-0

AWAY FROM HOME-- AWH
(play against team for next 4 games away after being home for 4 or more)
Game 1 = 7-3
Game 2 = 3-1 -->against Dal nov5
Game 3 = 0-0

wed nov 2

AWH - bet against kings (game 1)
AWH - bet against Kings (game 3)

Now I am not the systems founder and neither do I play this system.

It is banded around several forums and as I noticed, the final system "AWAY FROM HOME" the person recording the system can't count because there are 3 losses recorded for Game 1 but 4 plays made in Game 2 so one or the other is incorrect.

One more observation here.

I don't think that this system is as profitable as it may seem.

One loss and most of your profits are going to be lost. 2 losses, and you may be negative.

This system is great as long as it wins.

But a loss, or a couple of losses will really crush your bankroll.

I am not saying that it is profitable or un-profitable. I am just showing and making others aware of the possible pitfalls. As it stands at present, the system is in profit to around $4,300 starting each chase to win $100. However, one losing chase as I showed in an example above and all those profits are lost.

I will point out that it did produce profits last season in NBA using a few other filters and also in MLB.

I would recommend that anyone who is serious about playing this chase system through the whole season would be advised to have a substantial bankroll behind then if your target is to win $100 every chase. I nice profit can still be realised if starting each chase to win say $20. That keeps the amount of money wagered on -200 or longer favourites down.

By playing to win $20 per chase, you should, if past seasons are repeated, finish up with around $2,000.

How?

Can you give us an explanation?

Yes, it is profitable as long as it is winning.

But what happens when you have a loss or two?

Then what?

If you are playing this system the way that BB has described then you stand to lose A LOT of money on one or two losses.

Do you play it another way?

I am sure everyone here would appreciate an explanation.

I know I would.

Thanks.

I have come to the conclusion that this sytem is only profitable if you want to make a LITTLE bit of money, and have a very LARGE bankroll to work with. Otherwise, this system will make you very broke, very fast.

It is easy to sit there and say that this system is profitable......because right now it is winning.

A few losses and you are wiped out.

I think I will pass on the system, but thanks anyway.
