Quick introduction: Have been capping hockey for 4 years, years 2 and 3 at a very decent positive, of course last year was off. I used this past NHL offseason to completely upgrade a script that brings in many stats and tested it against the AHL. Ended the season picking about 61% against the moneyline.

This season I have capped every game and am currently at 125-72, just over 63%. I typically put plays on most games, somewhere around 80% of them.

I found this place in the Spring when looking for some piece of baseball info. I don't make many non-hockey plays other than soccer, but hockey is what I enjoy the most.

Ok, done with that.

Here are my Friday 11/4 plays:

Caps +135
Canadiens -135
Oilers -140 2x
Blackhawks +155 2x
Canucks -340
Ducks -130

Any comments are more than welcome, and good luck to you all!

Giving a win\loss record without giving plus\minus units is practically meaningless. For instance is a bettor is 20 wins and 10 losses and plays all -200 chalk, he would be about even. If a bettor was 10 and 15 and played all +150 dogs he would also be even.

That said, best of luck to you, newguy! Welcome to a great site.

I meant to put my units up there, basically just forgot as I was typing it up. My win/loss of 125/72 is across all NHL games that have been played so far. Based on the roughly 80% that I have played to date I am up about 18 total units.

Quick edit: I pulled off a 5 team parlay last week that paid out quite well to bring me up towards that 18 units.

Thanks to all for the welcome!

Good luck and welcome! I couldn't agree more with Heleanth. Records are meaningless. My record is (37-37), but I'm up over $1,000 this season. The only thing that matters is how much money you win or lose. You're up 18 units, so you have done quite well for yourself. Keep up the good work, and keeping making that dough!
