just run out the clock in that situation??

I mean I could see scoring more if you were in the hunt for the national title but Louisville is not.

Did not bet the game just curious........

classless? you think all the Alumni supporters don't roll a little dough on the spread, HE is the TOP of the class to them and that is how it is.

Classless, but at a school like Louisville there are plenty of boosters. Boosters with action.

the LV backup RB grinds out 8 mins on the clockin the 4Q for his team to guarantee a victory.....if i'm the coach, i give him a chance at the TD for what he did for the team

If I had gone to a school with a football team, I would probably be a booster. And I would probably try to shave or add points here and there.

Probably get caught at it.

Glad I went to a baketball, baseball school. And played tennis.

Enough with the booster bs! Bottom line, team up by 15 with under 2 minutes. Pitt not calling timeouts because they knew they were done. You kneel, PERIOD! Otherwise, its classless.

It would be classless if he threw the ball. He didn't. He ran it and everyone knew UL was going to run it. Pitt's job is to stop it. They couldn't.

In case you weren't watching the game, they scored with 40 seconds left and Pitt wasn't using timeouts to stop the clock. You take a knee!!!

Completely agree Scott
UL was liining up and running it down their throat, there was no secret, and they ran out the clock completely dominating them. College teams don't kneel. Its the same thing Pitt racing down the field after that trying to score a completely meaningless TD, you play the full 60 hard, pathetic that Pitt had to only stop the run and couldnt do it. This thread wouldnt exist if that last score put the score from a 10 pt lead to a 17 pt lead.

didnt bet the game but think UL handed their sh5t to them in that drive.

pitt sucks and couldn't stop anyone. enough crying about being classless. its football, not sissy tennis. they ran the ball every play basically that drive. line up 11 guys on the line and stop them or give up another td. great season wandstedt, you're a terrific, err terrible coach.

i can't understand playing a team so poorly coached. every week its either pass or anti pitt for me. wandstedt is really brutal at coaching. he might be able to recruit & be a great coordinator but no head coaching skills whatsoever.

I believe I'll take your advice on that one. Pitt couldn't stop a high school team and they had to know Louisville was running the ball every play. Few chances on third down to stop them and they couldn't.

19th hole
classic example of football team passing the baton
(killer instinct) off to the hoopsters (pre-season)..
