A long time ago I decided that there are things in gambling that just will never make sense-BUT--manufactured **** jobs have to be out there.......I mean I don't think you would see these things happen in top notch high-school football would you??

this is just a vent but-If you believe in life and what money does to people-you almost have to believe that games can be fixed regularly

Had Toledo and that was a bad beat!!!! But no way was that game fixed, just a bad, bad beat and if you really do think these games are fixed why in the world would you continue to bet them??? Just don't understand this "that game was fixed" nonsense!!

toledo had so many chances to win that game - yes i had toledo -9.5 and lost by a half point - but it happens in sports...right away the talk goes to "it's fixed" - i don't believe in fixes - you can't fix every single play of the game...sure i was hoping for them to kick the FG - but i've seen teams do that many times - just go for it - seen it in college & NFL...they were up 9 and some coaches don't like to take chance of a FG block or anything...i know last 2 nights had strange things but i hope everyone keeps there head up, accepts a loss...and moves on to preparing for their next selection...

think about the long term of sports betting...if you've been betting for say 5 years chances are you've made 1,000 plays total over that span...if you are a winning player you may have won 540 times and lost 460 times but you will still be ahead assuming you are using good money management...so chalk this loss up in one of your many losses - you have to accept losing to succeed in this game - stay positive - you have many more wagers to make...you will lose many by 1/2 pt or 1 pt...and you will be on the other side of these winning by 1/2 pt or 1 pt as well...

everybody remembers the losses - well remember the wins as well...have fun with this stuff - stay positive and don't go on tilt - keep managing the money, and everything will be fine - more winners out there for tomorrow...

have a good one everybody!

if you believe that no games are fixed your kidding yourself. games are fixed, not all just a few here and there and this is the perfect spot,2 small schools ,big fave ,lots of action.does happen, especially in coll sports.i was on ohio myself and didnt watch the game but from what i read i got lucky.

If you a realistic how can a game really be fixed like this one..........was toledo told to make sure they only outscored ohio by 3 points after being up by 6 and half. Some many things would have to take place to make sure a team only lost by less than 10. Just My Opinion.......

Agree, but don't be naive enough to think fixing isn't going on. Always has and always will and there is more now than ever. That back was not trying to score at the end of the game. Anyone want to dispute that.

I had Ohio and couldn't believe Toledo went for a Touchdown that failed either. I also had the under on Louisville/Pitt. game. I believe in so called "fixed" games. I guess I was just on the right side of the "fix" tonight.

Exactly, you win some you lose some but with hundreds of millions on the line, 20 year kids without a dime in their pocket can be bought. Sounds like Toledo was already under suspicion before tonight. I had the over and that sucked but Toledo bettors have got to be even more bitter.

Going for it on 4th down was the correct call. If they don't score Ohio has to go the length of the field in less than a minute and would still need to get the ball back. If they get a TD they would have a 16 point lead. A FG gives them a 12 point lead but they have to kick off which would give Ohio the opportunity for field position. I don't necessarily agree with the play call but I do agree with the decision not to kick a FG.

Man, I understand not covering, but are you guys just ranting, or do you really believe they used bad strategy?
My roommate had the OVER last night. It got down to 3rd and Goal and I was pretty much screaming to Ohio, just stop the run. They did.
I told him, sorry but your not getting a field goal here. He said, I know, I'm just hoping they get a touchdown on 4th down.
I was worried about play-action and just hoping they would run and not get in. (TD would have killed both 2nd H bets).
You'd have to be an idiot to kick a field goal in that situation. Up by 9 points. A bad snap or block could lead to a quick score and then you have an on-side kick to deal with.
If you kick it and go up by 12, then you have to kickoff and your still only up by less than 2 TD's.
You don't win a game for 59 minutes and then take chances.

As for the "safety"...there is something called forward progress. The guy caught it at the 3 and was hit instantly. Pretty bad idea by Ohio and followed up by another bad idea on the flea flicker. But definitely not a safety.

I know losses are tough. But these last 2 nights have seemed like more than just ranting. Toledo finished the game perfectly. They probably would have won no matter what they did, but they put themselves in a position where if they didn't score, they leave Ohio 99 yards away and down 2 possessions. They didn't need to risk a field goal for very little gain.
