I see a lot of people on SD sunday. 84%
line 0pened -6 and remains -6. :scared

I see a lot of people on Sea sunday. 92%
line 0pened -4 and remains -4. :scared

I see a lot of people on Car sunday. 82%
line 0pened -1.5 and is now -1. :scared

I see a lot of people on Giants sunday. 88%
line 0pened -9.5 and is now -11. :scared

My question is; some say that if it is heavy on one side, and the line moves with the bets then that is the side. And if it is heavy to one side and the line doesn't move, then take the underdog.

What is everyone's take on this?

Looks like plays should be:
Giants
TB
Arizona
Jets

You got the right idea...

Seattle opened at 4.5 in most places and is
now down too 4 with 92% of the public on them

82% on Carolina and Tampa is favored..go figure

But they are worth a play..all 4

Good luck

Just updating for over night bets:
SD still minus 6 but up to 85% now
Sea dropped to 91% but line went up to -4.5
Giants same
Car dropped to 80% but line still -1

The books have been moving lines, without enough action to warrant the moves... yesterday Texas Tech was bet down from 16 to 13 in every book, yet the %,s were still 80 % or more on TT. Was this smart money? i dont think so. I think the books knew they were going to get killed on this game, and they were trying to suck people in on betting the line movement. TT Rolled the aggies for fun.

its just about mathematically impossible for 84%, 88%, and 92% of the public to be on a given side. yes, theres money to be made in taking a stance with the books in certain spots. but those numbers that the sportsbooks put up with the percentages are just so bogus. sophomores in high school learn sample sizes and basic statistics. let's be reasonable here.

Why would they want you to have that information if it was accurate?

Why?
