Who will score for Alabama? hmmm...that's a mystery. They couldn't score against MSU, Ole Miss, or Tenn, why would they do any better against LSU? Not to mention UA's starting center is out with broken leg, so there will be a huge piece of an already young offensive line missing. UA's defense will keep them in it, but I like LSU to get the win here. Plus, if UA does win, then Auburn will be going to ATL.

I took LSU yesterday.

Due to Katrina shaking up their schedule, LSU has played 2 tune-up games and should be healthy for Bama. Joe Addai, who led the SEC in rushing until lturning his ankle 2 weeks ago, is a question mark. He will definitely play, but I wonder how effective he can be. Remember, LSU already lost their #1 TB, Alley Broussard, for the season. Fortunately, #3 TB is Justin Vincent, who earned SEC Championship MVP and Sugar Bowl MVP honors during LSU's title run. Vincent has struggled holding onto the ball, but it appears that he is regaining confidence.

Bama is not the same team w/o Prothro, now they are even worse off after losing the anchor of their O line.

Only way I see it going Alabama's way is that they will capitalize on the 5 LSU turnovers. Thats at least 5 field goals worth!

I disagree. I believe Alabama's defense will win this game. It has always been Alabama's repertoire to win with defense and this weekend will not be any different. LSU's run defense is anything but dominant. Look for Darby to have a lot of carries and a good game. If the new kid (Britt) at center can get the job done then Brodie's senior leadership should be enough.

LSU has a very good defense, and they have actually played against "good" offenses like Auburn and Arizona St. UA has not played one team with a decent offense and it will show this Saturday. However, Alabama always covers when I bet against them, so hopefully they will pull this one out somehow and then have their dreams crushed in Jordan-Hare on Nov. 19th.

Well, like I said, it is a win-win situation for Auburn fans to take LSU here. If LSU wins, you win. If UA pulls the upset, then all AU has to do is win out to get back to Atlanta.

But I like LSU's defensive front four to hammer UA's young O-line and bother Brodie and Darby enough to get the W.
