What is that symbol on the field

ok, new englands field has something on each side on the 50....im probably dumb, but what the hell is that supposed to be......this has been driving me crazy all year.

It's our Famous NEW ENGLAND LIGHTHOUSE!! I know it looks pretty sad. At the end of one of the endzones they have a 40ft high Lighthouse that basically doesn't work.
