HYPOCRITE LIBERAL SENATOR LEVIN :s4:

The 2nd ranking Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, Carl Levin, is currently leading the charge against Bush for fabricating evidence of WMD's in Iraq.

But wait.........on Monday, Levin told Chris Matthews on MSNBC.........

"There was plenty of evidence that Saddam had nuclear weapons, by the way. That is not in dispute. There is plenty of evidence of that."

Levin also criticized the Bush administration for deciding to remove Saddam Hussein shortly after 9/11. It is a curious charge. On December 16, 2001, on CNN, Levin himself called for regime change in Iraq...............

"The war against terrorism will not be finished as long as he Saddam Hussein is in power."

Carl lied, thousands died, right? Any liberals care to explain Mr. Levin's comments?? :)

Levin joins a long list of top hypocrite Democrats who get a free pass in the media for "lying" about WMD's in Iraq. Other liberals who said Saddam was a threat with WMD's...........

BILL CLINTON: "We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program." 2/17/98

JOHN KERRY: "The threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real..." 1/23/03

JOHN KERRY: "I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security." 10/9/02

CLINTON's Security advisor Berger: "He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983." 2/18/98

NANCY PELOSI: "Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process." 12/16/98

MADELINE ALBRIGHT: "Hussein has ... chosen to spend his money on building weapons of mass destruction and palaces for his cronies." 9/10/99

oh wait there's more...........

CARL LEVIN (again): "We begin with the common belief that Saddam Hussein is a tyrant and a threat to the peace and stability of the region. He has ignored the mandate of the United Nations and is building weapons of mass destruction and the means of delivering them." 9/19/02

AL GORE: "We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country." 9/23/02

AL GORE: "Iraq's search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to deter and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power." 9/23/02

TED KENNEDY: "We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction." 9/27/02

ROBERT KKK BYRD: "The last UN weapons inspectors left Iraq in October of 1998. We are confident that Saddam Hussein retains some stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons, and that he has since embarked on a crash course to build up his chemical and biological warfare capabilities. Intelligence reports indicate that he is seeking nuclear weapons..." 10/3/02

and yes folks.................even more......I know it pains you liberals but oh well, life is't fair........

JAY ROCKEFELLER: "There is unmistakable evidence that Saddam Hussein is working aggressively to develop nuclear weapons and will likely have nuclear weapons within the next five years" 10/10/02

HILARY CLINTON (your next candidate lol): "In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members ... It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons." 10/10/02

BOB GRAHAM: "We are in possession of what I think to be compelling evidence that Saddam Hussein has, and has had for a number of years, a developing capacity for the production and storage of weapons of mass destruction." 10/08/02

Freeze posted that list about 25 times a couple years ago and it was addressed by many. Do a search.

"the bunker"
everybody had the SAME intel.....everybody had the same opinion....

show me different if that`s not the case....prove it....the 9/11 commission couldn`t....

it is utterly disingenuous for the dems to now do a 180....

there wasn`t 2 different sets of intel..or 5......europe believed the same thing....that`s why there was a resolution 1441 at the u.n....

this is political bullshit....everybody knows that...

smart democrats like hillary and bill clinton want nothing to do with these smear tactics...because,they want to have a political future...

hacks like kennedy, reid, schummer and pelosi are going nowhere...so,they can be hysterically ridiculous...and there`s no fear of retribution...

why?.....because the bush administration refuses to fight back....they sit on their hands and remain mute....

they refuse to defend themselves....

so,they apparently will be overwhelmed by the democratic bomb throwers...

so be it...i am tiring of making their arguments for them....it`s not very hard to do......but,they won`t defend themselves....

let `em bleed to death...

How exactly would you have them defend themselves? By saying that in 1999 Nancy Pelosi made statements saying that she thought Saddam had WMD? Or that in 2002 Al Gore was concerned about Saddam?

Can you imagine how idiotic they would look if they pointed to Sandy Berger and how *he* thought Saddam was packin'?

All these politicians on both sides said the politically correct things. Only one of them has gotten us into this ridiculous mess.

So keep quoting 'whoever' from 6 years ago and keep deflecting.

Garden my friend, you say these actions of Democrats are going nowhere, but I see the new NBC/Wall Street Journal polls today show Bush favorable in the 20s now, also less than 30 percent believing he is a honest person. And the #1 reason people blame him most, above all the never ending parade of screw up s, is Iraq.

Bush and his crew are making fewer and fewer friends, they will no doubt single handedly crash and burn the Republicans, as I said, he is a idiot of the highest proportions.

Sham my friend

I've stated this before

I'll state it again

and again

and again

these polls involve many that will NEVER and have NEVER voted. You 1st have to be registered, which takes a couple minutes of effort. Then comes the hard part, the actual physical act of voting. There opinions are worthless. These polls are strongly bent in their direction.

Yet the polls are posted here continuously. Talk about worthless numbers and basic bullshit 101.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

IO, your point well taken, and no doubt holds water, however are these not the same polls & pollsters used when his popularity was in the high '60s?

I choked a huge swallow of ice tea out my nose

kosar...what proof do you have...proof...not innuendo...that anybody cooked intel on the lead up to the war?...

did the 9/11 commission conclude that?...with democratic hacks like gorelick and ben veniste on it?...no...

proof.....you understand the meaning of the word?...

no commission has made that finding...

if you say joe wilson...a political hack that hated the administration...that was sent by his political hack wife...who,btw,no one has concluded was a covert agent(please tell me who concluded that she was....the prosecutor sure didn`t....there have been no indictments for someone "outting" a covert agent to this point)....

the guy signed no confidentiality agreement.obviously this wasn`t a classified, info......he filed no written report...and the house intelligence committee believed that his oral findings bolstered the case that iraq was chumming for uranium...not what he told reporters...

proof....please...not innuendo...
