VT (-7) over UVA

The cavs play very well at home ask FSU but this VT team is of a huge loss to Miami and they should be chomping at the bit for this game. The Hokies have ACC championship hopes and this game is what stands in their way. This a huge in-state rivalry and both teams will come out ready to play. This is a team that was a double digit dog to most teams home or away and now because of the loss no one is sure how this team will rebound. Vick should look to bounce back from a terrible performance against the canes. Now the defense is also going to take out the 27 points let up on the UVA offense. Haggans and Lundy are the wheels that make the Wahoos go but the speed of the D-line and LB of Tech should shut them down. The O-line of UVA is young but athletic still they will struggle with the talent on the tech D-line. Turnovers are always important and the hokies should have the opportunity to create more than UVA. The Hokies special teams, defense, and a offense out to reprove them selves should be enough for Tech to cover the number. The UVA defense might have problems covering the speed at tech at WR, while the UVA WR have not been playing up to expectations. Both teams have solid LB's but the players around them will make the big difference and Tech has more talent.

BG (+10) over Miami (Oh)
Jacobs is the key and he has had 3 weeks to rest his non throwing shoulder injury. If he is worth a damn, he suites up tonight. with him in the line up it is a different team. The weather is dodgy and should limit what the offenses can do. the edge on defense goes to the hawks. The hawks play well at home but this is a huge game for BG and 10 is a lot to pass in this rivalry. BG is not the best team without Jacobs but they still should show up for this match up. Jacobs is a game time call but he is supposted to return tonight. Hawks have a good offense that has come on of late. Betts never makes good QB machanic throw always off his back foot. He can play but the BG defense can generate some turn overs. All in all comes down to the big man for BG but I'll take the points here.

play on the coach and the ohio team playing better talent. they stink on the road but they might win this one out right. Taking the 3 cause they are road lame.

No Ill (+9) over Toledo
INJURIES.....big problem for the huskies. No Wolfe, no Horvath and they have one of their best DT out. Harris is also banged up but is set to play tonight. Toledo has the huskies nuber edging this series 26-6. The blew the doord off No.Ill last year after the huskies opened with a 14 point lead. The Toledo coach just got a nice new 2 year contract and they are the home squad. Toledo has a solid QB and some good RBs. Not a good spot for No.Ill but I would not expect them to fold up shop. The huskies showed this resolve beating the chips 17 days ago after a disgraceful loss the ball st. The new frosh QB has a very good arm and he should be able to move the ball. Even though No.Ill looks to hammer the ball on the ground. This scheme will force Toledo to stack the box. A lot of chalk to spot a good team with ability. Toledo has this team dominated but the huskies should pull out all the stops. A lot of revenge, poor weather conditions and something to play for make these points look good. Toledo is very good at home so it is important for the huskies to value the ball and start strong.

Nice win with BG Irish. I put a small parlay with the BG moneyline and the under but my under got killed my the idiotic punter on Miami....anyways, I love the VT bet and I'll be all over that game with you.

Irish do you think V.T. "D" is that much faster or even better than Florida st.? Tech "O" just may not be as good as people think. Just trying to get a feel for this one myself.

I agree with what you say but its hard taking points with NIU with those injuries and inexperience qb on the road against a good home defense.

Defense is too tough for mich st. PSU is not going to go into MSU with anything less than the expectation to dominate. MSU has a solid QB but he does make mistakes and will be forced into poor throws. The spartans defense is not very good and PSU will be able to run and especially throw on this team. MSU will look to come out strong but PSU is a better team. Take away the ground game for MSU and they will have a tough time moving the ball. The little extra rest will he PSU game plan for Stanton who will more than likely be the keys to MSU. He can scramble but the PSU LBs will catch him. PSU has a lot to play for and the edge in talent. Home field will help but not enough.

Big game in the big house, OSU is not the best road team. Still the bucks defense should be up to stopping blue. They are quick anf tough up front, it will be hard for michigan to open up running lanes for Hart. Henne will have to take this game over and the secondary for the bucks need to stick like glue. Both teams have solid special teams and will look for big plays in the return game. Still the bucks have the edge in defense and that should be enough in this game. Tough to go into the big house and come out a winner but the OSU team has played well of late and should continue. Don't like the bucks away but think they have this one.
