The panthers failed last week against the bears. The bears played a great game. Right back on them again this week for a blowout. Panthers -4. :mj14:

Chicago
Fairy. I replied in your post last week warning you to take the Panthers in Chicago. I said that the Bears defense was the best in the NFL in my opinion and they played like it yesterday. I played the Bears ML and won a decent amount of $ yesterday. However, Im not sold on them this weekend. This doesent look like a good spot for them. They were obviously extremely pumped up yesterday after having to listen to the media, even local media, slam the Bears all week and not giving them any chance of winning that game. That was the most inspired I have seen them play in a long time. It would not surprise me if they had a let down this week. TB is a very good defense witht the same MO as the Bears. They play good defense, try to create as many turnovers as possible and they try to run the ball down your throat on offense. The Bears may still win this game because like I said before, they have the best defense in the entire NFL, but this will be a tough game for them, especially on the road. The one thing that could lead to a Bears win this weekend is the inexperience of Chris Simms. The Bears defense will put a lot of pressure on him and they fly around the field. This will be the fastest defense Simms has had to face in his young career. You saw what happened to an experienced QB in Delhomme when he got pressured. He threw 2 picks and was sacked 8 times. Simms could be in real trouble if the same pressure is applied. However, if TB can run the ball effectively, it will negate the ability to put pressure on Simms and then Bears could struggle.

Once again, Im not trying to encourage/discourage you from making any bets, Im just providing my perspective as a long time Bears fan, and a local, who usually has a good feel for how the Bears will play from week to week. Good luck in whatever you play.

actually the biggest wagering factor is the bandwagon factor

everyone dissed chicago and was sucking carolina's cock

chicago destroyed them

now....FINALLY...everyone is all over chicago and sucking their cock....they will probably give up 28 this weekend in tampa reading all their headlines (i hope im wrong)

but it's the typical nfl media talking head syndrome (much like mnf or the si kinx)...they have NO ability to see a story or a good team in advance...they only jump on board the hot story of the week only to see that story or team fall apart the very next week.

hope im wrong...but ive been riding the bears all year and this is the first week im having doubts.

Was thinking the same thing...Usually have a good feel for the Bears.....I have my doubts this week....I hope I'm wrong, too

The Bears match up well against the Bucs....Bucs don't have a receiver thats a MAJOR threat, although Galloway has stepped it up this year... The game will come down to the Bucs ability or inability to run the ball and the play of Kyle Orton. Ron Turner has been great in calling plays and picking his spots with Orton. If Orton can escape the game TO free and the Bears contain Tampa's running game and don't pick up a paper or watch the TV, they can escape in a squeaker.

But looks like they might be the popular play this week....

yep bears might be the popular bandwagon play of the week.....always follow it and go the other way.....it's what casinos are made out of!

think we match up with the bucs also but can see the tb defense giving orton some problems....hope t jones and a pete can run effectively because i dont want to see orton throw more than 20 times.
