Well it has been a long last 2 months we have moved from the Baghdad area to southern Iraq. The move took alot of time and man hours. We moved a whole Brigade in less than 2 weeks. So you can see what I have been doing lately.
It seems to be much quieter here then where we previously came from. Which in some ways has become hard to adjust too for some.
But we are nearly half way thru this rotation and I will be going home in Jan for 15 days of rest so they say. I recently was promoted to SFC which is very nice. I am torn now with thought of possibly doing another rotation here. I will make my decision when I return home and talk to my children in Jan. But I would really like to stay. I think we are doing alot of good here and we are needed here. But I will wait to make this decision.
I want to apologze to all for not keeping in touch as often as I should. But undertsand I live a different world than most and my time lately has been very limited to anything other than the mission at hand. But I do feel bad for not writing as much. Many of you sacrificed your time and money to send a care package and it was greatly appreciated more than you all know. It meant alot to the soldiers and too me especially. Thank you all again.
I will try to write much more once we move into are trailiers when we get them shortly. It will be a change of pace from tent life for sure. Once again I apologize and I do not forget what you all have done.
Thank you all!!!! From me and my fellow soldies.
