Cowboys +8.5?first off?it?s a Big advantage for the Home team on Thanksgiving Day especially if the team (Dallas) was home the week before?both teams must play on only 3 days rest but the Broncos will lose one day because of travel?the Broncos have been stellar to say the least as of late and come into Dallas with an 8-2 record?however?they are only 2-2 on the Road with losses coming in week #7 24-23 to the Giants and 34-10 in week #1 to Miami?the Cowboys are 4-1 at Home with the one loss coming to the Skins on MNF in a miraculous last minute comeback?the key to this game will be both teams running game?the Broncos have lived and died by the run this season by keeping their backs fresh by rotating Mike Anderson and Tatum Bell?well Bell has a banged up shoulder and it?s likely he mightl miss this game because of the short week?the Cowboys rank in the top 10 in the league versus the run?Broncos QB Jake Plummer has yet to throw an INT this season mainly because the team relies so heavily on the run and he can pick his spots to throw the ball?.when Plummer gets rushed he has been prone to mistakes in the past?on the flip side?the Cowboys running game has thrived as of late and they too have a rotation going with Julius Jones and rookie Marion Barber sharing the carries?.however?the Broncos ?D? also ranks right up there as one of the best run stopping units in the league?what this will all come down to is? the team that is able to throw the ball more successfully and protects the ball and avoids the turnover will likely come out on top?overall?I feel the Broncos are the better team?but?this may be a tough week to prove that?so?taking the 8.5 in a game that should be decided in the 4th quarter is the way to go in this one?the Broncos are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 overall?while the Cowboys are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 Home Tilts.

Tennessee -2?The Titans face a Niners team that has played well at home (despite losing) but has suffered on the Road?the Niners have been BLOWN out in 3 out of their 4 Road games (52-17 at Wash, 31-14 at AZ and 42-3 at Philly)?this week they face a Titans team that is very young but has been competitive week in and week out?I feel the Titans should be able to control the ball offensively and set the tempo of this game while the Niners who are playing rotating QB?s (it will either be Ken Dorsey or Rookie Alex Smith this week) have had a hard time getting any constant QB play on the road?this week they face a young Titans ?D? that has played well versus the run and can pressure the QB in the passing game?the ONLY advantage the Niners have in this one is kicker Joe Nedney ( a former Titan) has been spectacular this season?the Niners are 1-3 ATS in their last 4 Road games with 3 turning out to be blowouts while the Titans are 1-3 ATS at Home but have faced 3 Playoff teams (Colts, Bengals and Jaguars) in those games?the better team playing at Home gets the nod in this one with a possibility of covering the spread as well.

As I expected Gates injury wasn?t even nearly as bad as some thought and I expect him to play on Sunday?even if he doesn?t?the Chargers are facing a Redskins team that is overvalued due to the small mid season run that the Skins had?the team has lost 2 straight and QB Mark Brunell has come down to earth?or should I say ?he?s reverted back to his old form??one of the reasons that Brunell has been lousy as of late is the fact that the Skins are really banged up at the receiver position and have lost 2 out of their top 3 wideouts (David Patten and James Thrash) due to injuries?the situation is so bad that the Skins recently signed Jimmy Farris and he will serve as the teams #3 receiver behind Santana Moss and #4 Taylor Jacobs on Sunday?when you play a team like the Chargers who lead the league in rushing defense you need to have other options to attack their Defense other than a running game?the Redskins Don?t have many at this time?the Chargers are the much better team and are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 overall.
