I told myself I should retire undefeated after last week, but the degenerate in me won't let that happen. I would really like to bet on at least one of the Thanksgiving Day games but I don't think I can pull the trigger. I like both faves, and that can't be a good sign. Besides, betting on the Falcons and then watching Mike Vick with my money on the line is about as pleasurable as passing a stone. Anyway, on to the pick...
Jax (-3) Yes, I bought the hook. I know that's a sucker move but if you had any idea how many games I've lost by a hook this year you would understand. And Jax doesn't have a great offense, so I need the 3 spot. I think this line is too low. I think it's an overreaction to the Cards beating a bad Rams team last week. I think me, my sister, and a circus midget could put up a 28 spot on that Rams D. I think that great Jax D-line will destroy the lousy O-line of Arizona and Warner has about as much mobility as Larry Flynt, so that means a lot of sacks and/or fumbles.
I was also thinking about taking the over in the NYG/Sea game (47.5). However, the weather report is calling for scattered showers. I'll have to think about that one a bit more. Would love to hear anyone's opinions on the over.
