On the smoking gun website the police report quotes Irvin as saying the pipe belonged to his brother.

Today on the Dan Patrick show I heard him say it belonged to a friend.

Gee kinda tough to keep the story straight huh Mike???

i swear it was brother which surprised me because he later said that he didn't want to give his name. lots of holes in his story, but i don't think that the brother/friend mixup is one of them.

On espn dot com they have audio where he refers to his "friend".

Who knows...more importantly who gives a sh*t.

". . . a friend and my brother also" is what the audio has. Strange way to refer to a brother. Doesn't want the crack in the house for the safety of the kids, but lets him in the house.

Hope he gets the boot, not because he's a crackhead, but because he sucks. Why did they ever get rid of Sterling Sharpe?

He's flat out busted. I live in Plano and almost the same exact thing happened to me (arrest wise). I got pulled over with my wife in the car. The officer came back and said that I had a warrant for an unpaid ticket in Coppell(right next to Irving) and said that he had to take me in. No big deal, he said it was from 6 years ago(no way in hell I can remember that long ago). So, all that happened was, he took me in, my wife stopped by the bank after he put me in his car, she met us at the station and within an hour I was out.

Here's my question for him. If your wife was in the car with you, why did they tow your car(and search it) and why did your friend have to come get you out?
Why didn't your wife just follow you up there and get you out.
