So I missed the holidays but did hit LSU upset of WV... So take what you will as I sit at 11-5 in SEC and 17-5 overall.............
The Rams, 4-0 including an 83-82 win over instate rival Colorado, will offer some challenges the Tigers haven't seen. The biggest one will be forward Jason Smith, a 7-foot sophomore who is averaging 21 points, 9.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game.
But he won't be the only one. The altitude in Fort Collins can create problems for visitors. The Tigers left Saturday night to give themselves time to adjust. So we will see if it does. Here are the stars for Colorado State:
SMITH, NO MYTH -
? Sophomore forward Jason Smith has recorded double-doubles in his last two games.
? Has gathered four or more rebounds in his last 19 games. In the last eight games, he has a total of 79 rebounds. He has had five or more rebounds 22 times in 30 games.
MORE MORRIS -
?Sophomore guard Sean Morris hit a school-record nine three-pointers for the second time in his career against Colorado. In the game, Morris posted a career-best 34 points.
? Leads the MWC averaging 3.50 three-pointers per game this season.
? In two games against UNLV last year, Morris scored 50 points (31 and 19) marking the top two scoring games of his career.
? In his last six games he has hit 286-of-53 (.528) three-pointers.
? Has had two or more three-pointers in 12 of 24 career games.
I WANNA BE LIKE MIKE -
? Junior forward Michael Harrison has one double-double in four games as a Ram after a 15-point, 11-rebound performance against Northern Colorado.
The biggest factor for Auburn:
Defense and surprising play?..Auburn won its first two games with surprising ease. Lipscomb came to town after hanging with Kentucky deep into the second half. Defending national champion North Carolina had to have a buzzer-beating 3-pointer to beat Gardner-Webb 83-80. Auburn took early leads against both and never looked back. Of course we all know how well North Carolina truly is. So, the asking has begun. I see Colorado State covering this, main factor is I don?t know how much Auburn we?ll be able to score against Colorado State. So if Colorado State can put up seventy on Auburn, I believe they can win and possible cover. Yet you get what you pay for, so beware.
Colorado State ?6 over Auburn????????
Also outside I like
Providence -4.5
looking for more to play :cursin: Thanks!!!
