i work for t-mobile
bb is good for phone and email and limited for internet browsing...future bb's will have better browsing exp that take adv of higher network speeds by providers (currently you can visit wap pages and get real-time score updates but viewing web pages is a bit slow)
treo 600/650 is good for web browsing (but not so much for email compared to bb) and phone
ipaq is also good for web viewing and currently is the only wi-fi enabled device so if your in a wifi location you will get t-1 type speeds for your web surfing...however the device is large and clunky
which device to choose is really dependant on what is important to you
email-bb
phone-any device
web-treo or ipaq (if you have wife locations that are convenient)
I buy every new gadget phone that comes out, usualy before it comes out. I even have a rare MPX 300.
Sory, incorect about the ipaq, MANY other wifi enabled pc phones out there. Been with team mobile 4 ever, had their pocket pc branded when it came out and moved up to the 6315 when it came out. took it back in 4 days because reception sucked.
Been using I-mates ever since. Alot of brands of phones are using I-mate and renaming them. I mainly use the imate jam (have 2). Worlds smallest pda phone (pocket pc and smartphone applicaions) runs full pocket pc apps (office) has pocket microsoft explorer. Makes IPAQ and treos lok like monster trucks)
I also have Imate K-jam, its the same but it has windows mobile 5 (awesome) and has wifi and slide side keybord, and is still small enough to put in your pocket while wearing tight jeans. if your looking for the big PDAs 3.5" screens and have a grand to toss around, the imate Jasjar is the top of the line. Swear to god it operates just like a laptop, video conference phone, camera with flash, tablet screen (swivels closed like tablet pc), phone. (I dont have one yet cause I just got he k-jjam and it is a grand, and I cant justify spending that when the k-jam is almost as good)
As I said, these same phones are available in many different brands, but the i-mates are light years ahead of HP in pda phones. go to clubimate.com to see the whole line.
Also, the imates are unlocked, tri-band or quad-bandphones, meaning you can put in your sim card and use them anywhere with ties to you carrier. For example: I have t-mobile, but in Tennessee I am on at&t network, in Nebraska I am on Cingular, and in North Carolina I have been on Sprint. I changed and used diferent networks at different frequencys at no extra charge to me and all automatically.
As far as the web pages go, I would suggest going with a phone that is wifi capable now, because wifi hospots are becoming so prevalent. Plus you get to surf at up to 11mb/sec (wireless b speeds, not T1) The new imates with mobile 5 are edge capable which is using your cingular to surf at 384kb/sec.(EDGE is not available everywhere yet) which is as fast as dsl light and is like gprs that is available on T-mobile now but gprs is around 49 kb/sec,which is stil faster than dialup.
The only advice that I can give as to which to choose a far as treos, blackberrys and pc phones is do you like mac or pc? Most who like macs, like palm os based (treo and blackberry) if you like pc, you would probably like pc phones.
If you like blackberrys, might want to check this out first.

Blackberrys may be gone for good.
