A new museum is open in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq. It features a historical layout of the bloody masacres and the widespread genocide that Saddam Hussein inflicted on his own people. Here are some of the features....maybe you liberals can go protest out in front of it...........
1. A memorial for Halabja, where the use of weapons of mass destruction were used to exterminate entire neighborhoods of innocent Iraqis. In a scene eerily reminiscent of Adolf Hitler - poison gas was used. Boys and girls rounded up and taken away. It was simply genocide. People were rounded up into concentration camps and shipped away or simply marched out into the desert, blindfolded, and shot.
The result??? 182,000 Kurds missing. Saddam's GENOCIDE.
2. A life-sized figure of a Kurdish rebel hanging by his wrists from a metal hook, his arms bound behind his back. 2 electric clips are attached to his earlobes from where wires run to a green hand-cranked electrical generator on a metal desk.
3. There's a figure of a man hunched over, handcuffed to a low point on the wall. The person would be handcuffed here for several days in a way in which the person could not stand up straight.
4. There's four solitary confinement cells. 2 feet by 4 feet -- just high enough to stand in but without enough room to recline. Get inside and close the cell door. Completely locked into a dark box and left for days on end.
I'd just like to thank GW Bush for removing this monster from power. The families of 400,000 dead exterminated people I'm sure are quite thankful to you too.
