Define "Best Player"

-one who I'd most want on my team?
-one who is most physically gifted?
-one who I's want to play beside?
-most outstanding?

Should I include longevity?

Should the age (years to play) be considered?

Please narrow your request.

I was just throwing a few names out there, if you guys want to add some players just reply who you think should be added.

Also, when I say best player I mean the player that you would most want on your team.

I voted for LT in this poll but am very surprised Manning has not gotten more votes.

I voted Peyton Manning, he knows how to lead a game has more pressure than LT to perform and he dictates the flow of the game. Hes not afraid to call Edge's # 4 or 5 straight times. He rarely gets sacked, due to his line but more importantly his quick reads.....Unselfish and a team leader.

Lt is a close 2nd, what he does on the field is incredible, more of a lead by example guy, he is the focal point of the Charger Offense, enabling Brees to spread the ball around, but at the end of the day, I take Peyton Manning.

i was gonna vote for LT, the more i thought of it, i don't know of anyone who can control a game like peyton. LT is awesome, but he doesn't call the plays, that to me is the difference.

If I had to pick between brady and manning..I take brady. Yea, manning won 12 straight..brady won 21 straight over 2 years. And manning has an allstar cast of receivers and and an all pro rb. If manning cant win with this team it would be an embarrisment. Brady won a sb with antwon smith at rb. No way in hell manning even wins a playoff game with antwon smith..

Brady is in a great system. He took less money to stay in that system. If he wasn't in said system, he would not be considered a great QB.

Manning creates his own system. He was able to demand top dollar to stay in Indy. Today's Peyton Manning would have Detroit in the playoffs if he was a Lion. I don't think Brady would have the same effect.

Just an opinion.

But the real question still lies, can "Manning's" great and wonderful system, make him a champion? It hasnt yet! For some reason 3 points sticks out in my mind.

Brady took over a team that I think was about 1-3 in 2001 and took them to the sb. If there was a system they didn't know about it until brady got there.

Brady performs under pressure...manning hasn't proved that yet.

Just when you think all doubters are silenced, another comes out of the woodwork...

So what you are saying is you would never believe Brady is a great QB unless he left and proved it somewhere else?? come on man!!!

Brady took less money so the team would have money left to build a team around him so they could win, that's all that matters to him, WINNING!!

Marino stayed in Miami, great QB or great system...

Manning has stayed in Indy, great QB or great system...

You said Manning would have Detroit in the playoffs if he played for them... isn't that the point, he's great at getting his team INTO the playoffs, but getting all the way, let's just say that is Brady's specialty!!

Manning and Brady are a toss up career wise in my opinion. Manning has had a better 2005.

However, Brady does have all the rings so he's in a better position. I'd rather have the rings than the money - because these guys will never have to worry about that.
