Every one looking at this game and salivating at the thought of Texas catching 6 or 7 against a team that struggled to beat a Fresno State team that cannot beat LaTech! Then watch what happens as SoCal SMOKES Texas and the gullible betting public...

well i dont think the fix is in.....but i do think the media machine and talking heads will lure the suckers into the hype of texas, the weakness of the pac 10, the weak sc defense and the line will be less than 7 at kick off

again

texas rolls over col
sc barely over ucla
would be a dream scenario for sc backers

You are in fantasy land. The line is what it is and it aint changing. The most comical thing of all is that the media will be all over Texas and anti-USC. That is delusional.

The media was ALL OVER Texas prior to the Texas A&M game. Same exact things said about OU were being said about Texas over USC. Since the loss, I think the media will be on USC's side. However, I agree with gin that if USC barely beats UCLA, and Texas blows out $hitty CO, media might jump right back on Texas.

Yeah the media has always been all over Texas and Mack Brown in a favorable way. That might be the dumbest shit you have posted yet - quite an accomplishment.

fantasy land???

that line in the orange bowl last year moved 4 points in the last 4 hours

sc -3
to
sc +1

if it weren't for that i'd say you are correct....the line shouldnt move off 7...but this is college football and lines aren't tied to 7 and 3 like they are in the nfl

as for the media machine.....just wait until they have time on their hands to tell everyone how bad sc's defense has been...how bad the pac-10 is...esp when the pac 10 loses some bowl game like ucla vs northwestern in el paso (that's the reward for a 9-2 top 15 season for the pac-10's third place team???)...and how texas beat ohio state....

put it this way....i have more confidence it goes down to 4 than it does up to 10

It is 7. Gonna be 7. I am sure the media wont comment at all at how bad the Big 12 is this year either. The spin from you guys is incredible sometimes. But to Scott's credit 1 in every 50 posts has something useful and he occasionally at least posts some picks. More than i can say for some.

I doubt the books will go from 7 to 3 and allow a middling between two key numbers in one of the biggest games of the year....not gonna happen...will only move 1 pt either way IMO...

I doubt the line even moves. If anything, it will get larger after Reggie Bush leaves little pieces of UCLA's defense all over L.A.

It doesn't matter if the line is 3, 7, 10 USC will dominate Texas all over the field. I wish they would stop sending these Big 12 teams to the slaughter house:
