I came across an interesting report on the role the US is playing in regards to Iraq's oil present and future. For a long time now, conservatives have bristled at the thought of something as underhanded and self-serving as the Bush administration attacking Iraq for the oil. In fact, when I posted a recent article about oil shortages for Iraqi's, Charles twisted my post and asked for proof that we were stealing Iraqi oil. Since my post was in reference to how "good" the situation is in Iraq for the people there, I didn't go down that road. But when I found this report this AM, I thought I would post a link to it.
I think this is a very damning report, and one that certainly should be studied. I do not know the background of the person writing it, nor about the organization we wrote it for. But it is a very thorough examination of the US role in the Iraq oil situation. One could draw some pretty negative conclusions from some of the information in it as far as the Bush administration is concerned.
I will not post the entire report here, too much stuff. But here is the link. I invite you to check it out. Draw your own conclusions, or ignore it. I found it interesting.
