Can someone talk me out of the Giants -8.5?

It just seems like all signs point to a Giants blowout here. They have a lot to play for considering playoff seeding, a possible bye in the first round, etc. The Eagles on the other hand just had their season officially end on Monday with a demoralizing loss. I can't see them coming out and showing much considering they have nothing to play for now. And if that's not enough, Westbrook is now out for the year. Their offense consists of Mike McMahon, Ricky Moats, and a bunch of no-name receivers. Will they even get 10 points in this game??? I checked the weather and it's supposed to be clear and sunny on Sunday, so that's not a factor. Would love to hear opinions on this game. Thanks...

Don't do it...

Don't do it...

... I may be a recent member, but one of my biggest plays this year will be on the Eagles now at +10. I followed your plays last week and see you are a solid capper, but go with the Eagles here. I am even putting some on the moneyline. This is their superbowl this year.

wow......moenyline

there are a few teams to completely avoid the last 4 weeks:

philly
oak
no (always avoid these fking dogs)

not only have these turned into bad teams, but each has shown the uncanny ability to completely quit in the middle of a game.....i wouldn't want ANY of my money on these teams.

I appreciate the feedback guys...

I appreciate the feedback guys...

I should have replied in this thread that I ended up taking the Giants -8.5 last night. My bad. I just can't see the Eagles getting up for this one and the Giants have a lot on the line. I could be wrong though.

Scrapiron... thanks for the compliment. I'm pretty new to MadJack's but have been capping for a few years. We may be on opposite sides on the Eagles game but I welcome your feedback anytime. Good luck everyone...

thanks again for the comments fellas. After looking at this game even more I am REALLY regretting the fact that I didn't load up on it. I placed an average-sized play on it, when I probably should have made it my biggest play of the week. Oh well, I don't want to put any more on it now that it's up to -10. I can at least be confident in the fact that I have Turd Ferguson's blessing. There's no way I can lose now!

In other news, and this may affect your capping of this game... I just want to let everyone know that I received a call from Andy Reid yesterday and I will in fact be playing the slot receiver position on Sunday. Apparently they had asked one of the security personnel but he won't be in town this weekend. So yes, it's been a while since my glory days of HS football, but the Eagles have called on me and I'm here to help them out. I no longer have the blazing 4.9/40 speed I did in HS, but I still have decent hands. And if Steve Largent taught me anything growing up as a boy in Washington it's that slow, average-sized white guys do have a place in the NFL. Perhaps what I'm looking forward to most, however, is Mrs. McNabb's "homemade" Chunky Soup. Ahhhhh... Sirloin Burger! Yum!
