\Make sure you get him from a reputable breeder and that hes got papers which clear him of common things GSDs can get like ED and HD.

GSDs are a lot of work, get bored pretty quick and need a lot of exercise but he's awesome. I spent a lot of time training him but it is well worth it. He's even good with my little cousins and godson. He was a little nuts when he was younger but since he turned 18 months he has settled down a lot and knows a lot better. Very intelligent dog! He loves work and plays fetch which is great for me cause we walk to the park and I get to throw the football, hit the baseball or kick the soccer ball 20-100 times and he loves it.

A little dog is ok and less work but soemthing like a GSD is fun for a guy who loves sports cause they're more driven and playing fetch is always fun for both of us. I dont have to buy 4 footballs or a bag of baseballs or go fetch them myself when I have Max around. He's my little Terell Owens and even my girlfriend loves him. He'd do anything for the 2 of us. He's 2 now. The pic was when he was 1.

Just a quick tip Kniefl.........If you are going to bread them then use a little garlic powder and some of that Tony Chacheres Creole seasoning and dip them in a milk and egg mixture first.......then into the flour garlic and creole mixture and then back into the milk and egg mixture and right into 375 degree peanut oil. I have never breaded a rat before but the little bastards look tasty.
Slice them thin if you are going to put them in gordita form to play taco bell with.
