My wife is the room mother for my youngest's class and they have a christmas play on Tuesday..

It was here job to help with decorating and fixing costumes and help get the kids dressed...



Take a guess how many volunteers they have for tomorrow.....

A teacher I know was just telling me about a situation that happened at her school. Every student is assigned a color geometric shape and that colored shape matches up with the color card on the bus that the student needs to get on for their trip home. A parent called and complained because their little boy was assigned pink. :wtf:

I told my friend that the principal should change that group to a rainbow colored triangle and see how the parent likes it. :s8:

At my kids private catholic school one of my sons best friend doesn't dress in a costume for Holloween. His parents don't believe it should be celebrated like a holiday. They can be extreme we were having lunch after our kids bball game and the father made a wierd a comment. He said he didn't like going into this certain gym because it had the school's mascot on the big double doors going into the gym. The mascot is the red devils. Some people need to take a deep breath and chill. I think there is alot more bs that goes on in a private school, not parents being lazy and not volunteering but alot of politics in who is on what committee and whose kid gets more playing time. I don't have to worry about all the bs because my uncle is the principal, and I am glad we went the private route. I didn't like the idea at first but if you can afford it why not.

Perhaps have a NAMBLA week in preschool, ya' know. Then "Dykes 'n Bikes week" in the Elementary schools. "Johnny has two Daddies" week, etc.
