Loving the Over on the Spurs/Wolves Game

176, while it does seem about right for two half court offense teams, I think it will be close to it or easily covered.

For many reasons:


1. TNT game... anyone have the numbers on how many TNT games go over... I know its a majority. More TV timeouts = more rest = more points.

2. Spurs offense is avg. 97 a game. They have only had three games of 80 to 89.

3. This is not a back to back game. When they are rested they score. Two of the three times they scored 80 to 90 they were on back to backs. The other time was against Houston, so go figure on that.

great call. ive bet the over on parlays the past three weeks on tnt games and im pretty sure ive covered nearly all of them. i thought it was because the league loves assigning whistle happy refs to these games to up the scoring but you made some great points as to the tv time outs, etc. im taking ths too. lets get it

I hope I didn't put the cooler on you, but I am jumping on this one also. Minn has gone under 6 in a row, and the spurs have played 4 straight without going over the total. Something has got to give, and throw in TNT games that usually have higher scoring. I'm in. GL!

dont believe the san antonio game is on tv tonight.

also, unless something has changed, there are no tv timeouts in the nba. there are designated timeout "slots" in every quarter of every game.
