Some trends to ponder for the Fiesta Bowl

THE DOG is 8-3 ATS in ND games this year, a continuation of a long time trend favoring the underdog in every game ND plays

ND is 5-0 SU away from South Bend this season

ND is 4-0 ATS this year as an UNDERDOG
ND is 3-1 SU this year as an UNDERDOG
ND is 4-0 ATS this year AGAINST RANKED TEAMS
ND is 4-1 ATS AWAY from South Bend this year
ND is a perfect 3-0 ATS when facing RANKED TEAMS on the road this year, and has won all 3 SU!

trends

OSU 3-1 in the Fiesta Bowl
ND 1-2 in the Fiesta Bowl

OSU 6-1 in when playing a team with a winning record
OSU 8-3 in all lined games this season
OSU 8-3 as a favorite
OSU 6-1 after playing a conference game
OSU ST is 2-0 against the spread versus ND since 1992
OSU is 2-0 straight up against ND since 1992

ND 7-4 in all lined games
ND 1-4 in lined games after 2 or more consecutive straight up wins
ND 0-7 IN THE LAST 11 YEARS IN BOWL GAMES-thanks to Au2001

ND defense allows 5.5 ypp, this will takes its toll over the course of a game

It all works both ways!

After the ADMIN already gave a warning about going back and forth, WHY COME INTO MY THREAD? I like posting here, and I dont want it ruined because you cant follow orders from someone in command. Get yourself BANNED leave me out of it please! :mj22:
PLease NOTE ADMIN: Requested subject to stay out of my thread and he will not comply

Question: how are trends about ND categorized as OSU trends?

Second the UNDERDOG is 8-3 ATS in ND games this year. ND is the underdog this game.

Third, this thread is for FIESTA BOWL TRENDS!
Trends from 1992 have NOTHING to do with the Fiesta Bowl, or the two 2005 teams that will be playing in it.

Fourth, PLEASE explain how ND is 1-4 after two or more consecutive wins, when they only have TWO LOSSES ALL SEASON?

Easy to allow 5.5 YPP when you are AHEAD for 90% of the total minutes you played for the season!

since there are two teams playing in the fiesta bowl, i think it is wise to look at trends for both teams not just the one you seem to be in love with.

I agree. Here's some more trends for both teams in the Fiesta Bowl.

Most recent trips to Fiesta Bowl for each team:

2004 Ohio St. 35, Kansas St. 28 Win
2003 Ohio St. 31, Miami 24 Win

2001 Oregon St. 41, Notre Dame 9 Loss
1995 Colorado 41, Notre Dame 24 Loss

Ohio St. last Fiesta Bowl win 2004

Notre Dame last Fiesta Bowl win 1989

Hope this helps.

right. But when someone titles their post "OSU TRENDS" ND playing in a bowl game 12 years ago is irrelevant, no?

AU2001. Thanks. I like all this information on the 1990s. It is very relevant to the 2005 ND/OSU teams. I think I need some information about the 1980s and the 1970s before I can decide on the game.

Using your logic i would assume ND will win because it has more BOWL GAME WINS all-time than OSU.

Oh it does help. Thank you greatly

NOW I can make an informed decision.

Here are some more "relevant trends"

I have gone 8,791 days without having an accident. I believe I was 1 1/2 years old last time it happend.

Au2001 has gone exactly 11 minutes since his last

Some trends being mentioned are irrelevant, so I guess I'll join in

ND more bowl wins than any other program
ND more national championships than OSU, and 99.9% of other programs
ND more Heisman trophy winners than Auburn

Where does it end?
