Just wondering everyone's thoughts--do you think San Diego will pull the upset?

im a die-hard SD fan and the scary thing is EVERY PERSON I have spoke to regarding htis game who wagers, around 20-30 people both acquantinces and friends, ALL say that SD +7/8 is a "lock"...I just do not see how our stupid ass Marty Ball gameplan is going to be able to stop the Manning train, I think they give em a run for their money but Colts pull it off in DD after letting SD hang around till about the end of the 3rd

vyrus, a few years from now someone will be asking "how come the chargers never get past the 1st rd of the playoffs?" when will marty ever get blamed for being the bich he is? he can make any team respectable, but he will Never coach a team to a conf championship or a SB. tomlinson is teh best runner in football - he makes ole marty look good. clev,kc, and now sd - choker for life. i will never understand why the media sucks this guy off as a future hall of famer. the collapse in ot last year against the jets was a snapshot of his coaching career. up the middle, ditto, fg kick missed - when you're off was moving the ball at will against the jets from the 4th q on.... anyway, i never cheer for anyone in my div and i love seeing marty lose. however, knowing how it feels to follow a team like a cult - i can appreciate your frustration and dedication to your team. you have the best rb/te combo in the league, but you still have marty - sadly for you and the rest of your fan base. regarless of tomorrow's outcome, marty will not get it done in the playoffs.

Big holes in the Colts D Line

Big holes in the Colts D Line

Simon is out...Tomlinson goes for at least 150 and a TD. Chargers...probably not a win but watch the back door...

i live in indy and hope that the colts run the table, but i am worried about this game, too much on the line for sd, and without simon and mathis LT could run wild. sd straight out win. and that is from a big time colts fan.

I agree with Bacardi. Then again, I've lost 7 of my last 8 picks so you may want to take my opinion with a grain of salt. But I have the same take as him. There is no doubt in my mind that Indy is the better team, but I think this spot favors SD. I only have a small wager on the ML, but I have a pretty big one plus the points. I have no doubts that Indy wants to win this game, but it really doesn't matter if they lose. SD knows this is a must-win for them. I can't see them coming out and lacking focus or intensity, whereas I think it's a possibility with the Colts. In the back of their minds they know they have homefield throughout the playoffs no matter what happens the next three weeks.

Now throw in the fact that KC just lost their game today and SD knows a win tomorrow will put them a full game ahead of KC for the wildcard. Guess who/where SD plays next weekend? AT KC. This is SD's biggest game of the season by far. I'm not saying they absolutely WILL win this game outright, but they will be ready. And I'm not sure why so many people aren't even giving them a chance??? After tomorrow's game they have to play at KC and at home against Denver. I don't see them having a letdown tomorrow. The Colts are the best team in the NFL but given that they now have everything wrapped up I think they are vulnerable to having a letdown.

I think Indy wins this game and covers the 7.5

Indy is a machine right now, and they are going to make the home crowd proud.

Big defensive holes like they said. Im liking this over more and more, I think we could see a shootout for the ages tomorrow. 45-41 Colts

No way. Indy players & all the coaches want a perfect season. They will play hard enough to win. The line is falling, now 7. Will probably use them as the spoke to wheel some 6 point teasers
