it's time to get a little crazy. i'm firing away today, boys!! :bigun:
minnesota (+4.5) 3 units. minny has won, what, 7 straight games? and now they're a home dog? oh, give me those points, please. pittsburgh hasn't exactly been playing great football. last week they did manage to score 3 TDs on a banged up chicago defense, but that was my fault. i benched jerome bettis in FF and chicago was my starting d, so it was a given that he would score a few times.
jacksonville (-15.5) 2 units. now i know i've been smoking too much crack. jax has traditionally been a bad favorite. they're coming off their biggest game of the year, the loss to the colts. now the hapless niners come to town. the jags will be sleepwalking through this game. but you khow what? even sleepwalking, they'll win this game 23-7.
sea/tenn Over (45) 2 units. the over is 9-4 in seattle games this year. since their bye week, the over is 4-2. the two that missed only missed by 2 points and 3 points. seattle's offense should keep rolling, but i don't think their d will have much intensity today; they'll be looking ahead to payton manning.
houston (+3) 2 units. yes, the texans are terrible. this play is purely a matter of principle. if i can get 3 points from arizona on the road, i HAVE to take them.
miami (-8.5) 2 units. the jets are pathetic. their CLOSEST defeat on the road this year was by 10 points. the average score of a jets road game? 24-7. their last 3 road games, they have scored a TOTAL of 6 points. miami is finishing strong and should relish the opportunity to thrash the jets.
dallas (+2) 2 units. the 'boys have dominated the 'skins for roughly the last 7 or 8 years, if not longer. they did it again for 57 minutes earlier this year. i'm sure parcells made roy williams watch those 2 plays over and over and over again. if he gets burned deep by santana moss again today, i will personally kick him in the balls next week. i'll be at carolina for the game (in the "player's section", whatever that means), so i'll be able to do it. in the words of stephen colbert... roy williams, you're on notice.
cincy/det under (45) 2 units. nothing fancy here...this total looks a little low, everybody is hammering the over, so i will go under.
chicago (-3.5) 2 units. if the bears defense was healthy, i would LOVE the bears here. if everybody else wasn't on the bears, i would LOVE them. i still think they'll get it done. they should only need a touchdown to get the cover. final score, 7-3. and the 7 will most likely be on an INT return.
