I like this weeks card... especially this 3 game 10 pointer that I put together.
.
3 Game 10 Point Teaser
Kansas City Chiefs +13
Denver Broncos +0.5
Cincinnati Bengals +1.5
Chiefs +13?First off this is a 5:00pm est kickoff on Saturday and it?s a MUST win for the Chiefs?the Chiefs are coming off of a road loss to the Cowboys in a game that they had the lead?lost it?and would have sent it into O.T. had Lawrence Tynes made a 41 yd field goal?the Chiefs running game is the BEST in the NFL right now because of Larry Johnson and the Best O-Line in the league?this week they face a Giants team that is built small on the D-Line but has been good against the run most of the year?last week in their win over Philly ILB Antonio Pierce went down with an injury and might miss this weeks game pending the results of an MRI?whether Pierce plays or not?the Chiefs should be able to control the tempo of this game by running the ball and exploiting a Giants defense that can be vulnerable to a decent passing game with a good TE (Tony Gonzalez)?I really like the Chiefs match up against the G-Mens ?D??on the flip side?the Giants and Eli Manning struggled at times last week and both of their starting OT?s (Kareem McKenzie and Luke Pettigout) went down with an injury?both are waiting the results of an MRI and could miss Saturday?s game which won?t help the Giants chances of running the ball and protecting Eli?all in all?I know it?s tough to play in Giants stadium in front of a jacked up crowd... but...I'll take my chances with the healthier team that is in a must win situation and getting a generous 13 points in this tease?this one should be decided in the fourth quarter with an outright Chiefs win a definite possibility.
Kansas City 24 New York 20
Broncos +0.5?As I stated last week?stick a fork in the Bills?because they are done this season!...my only regret is not making the Pats a Big Play?the team has lost it?s faith in the organization particularly Coach Mullarkey and their poor effort at home last week against the Division rival Patriots proves it?their O-Line is one of the worst in the league?HB Willis McGahee is playing like he doesn?t want to be in Buffalo any more?and their Defense which was highly overrated at the beginning of the season is just lousy at this time and can?t defend the run or the pass?this week they face a Broncos team that is one of the best running teams in the league and one of the top teams in the league?I feel the Broncos will be able to control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball and possibly hand the Bills their second blowout loss at Home in as many weeks?even if the Bills play their best ball on Saturday Night 8:30pm est...it won?t be enough to beat a better Broncos team that matches up real well against the Bills.
Denver 27 Buffalo 16
Bengals +1.5?This is a mismatch from the get-go on paper and I expect it to play itself out on the field?the good news is the Lions Defense has one good match up corner in (Dre Bly)?the bad news is?the Bengals have 3 very good receivers (Henry, Houshmanzadeh and Johnson) to cover on Saturday?plus?the Lions Defense which is banged up gave up 171 yards rushing to Samkon Gado on Sunday?this week they face a similar type runner in Rudi Johnson who is arguably better than Gado at this stage?all in all?the Lions Defense versus the Bengals offense is a terrible mismatch which I expect the Bengals to exploit all day long?on the flip side?the Lions offense is struggling and will be without their best HB Kevin Jones because of an injury?QB Jeff Garcia (who for whatever reason remains the starter) has struggled throwing the ball and seems to have lost his arm strength?this week the Lions offense faces a Bengals Defense that has 15 INT?s in just 3 games versus the NFC North this season?a long year for Matt Millen and Co. may get a bit longer on Sunday.
Cincinnati 34 Detroit 14
I'm getting out the Gun! :bigun:
I'll most likely be adding one or two more during the week.
