Rough day yesterday 2-4 down 1.4 units, but I sort of figured going into yesterday that it would be a complete crap shoot in the NFL this week as well as next week since it's tough to tell which teams or coaches have packed it in for the season. Going to try and chase today to salvage the weekend with the following plays:
68-36-3 +29,7 Units (Posted Plays)
Bears over 30.5
I know both defenses are in the upper echelon of the NFL , but what really do the Packers have to lose at this point in the season to not let it all hang out here? I expect Farve to throw early and often in this game which is a plus to over players because for one it slows the clock and it also will either result in the Pack moving the ball or turning it over on picks resulting in good field position for the Bears. Grossman's job will not be much different then when Orton was QB as he will be in charge of playing it close to the vest and managing a ball control offense, but I think he presents more of a vertical throwing opportunity for the Bears to open the offense up slightly.
Ravens-160
Dont feel real comfortable laying over a FG here with the Ravens so I am going with the moneyline in this one! Im not sold on the Vikings even though they have a better record then the Ravens, but if you take a closer look at the Vike's record it has been achieved with victories over nearly every bum in the NFL with the lone exception of the Giants. Now if you watched that Giants game the Vikings win was a complete fluke IMO and I doubt they could achieve the same results again. Ravens are bad but they still ahve some solid defenders and either Taylor or Lewis should be able to provide enough of a running threat to open up the field for Boller to capitialize on a play action as the game progresses. I think both of these coaches are more than likely canned after this year, but I recently read that Billick thinks that if he can win out (Cleveland next week) then he will be retained.
Good Luck Cappers!!!!
